RSデコーダ433はデインターリービングされたノーマルストリームパケットをリードソロモンデコーディングしてエラーを訂正する。
ターボデコーダ441は等化されたデュアル伝送ストリームのうちターボストリームに対してのみターボデコーディングを行う。ターボデコーダ441はターボデコーディングが完了されれば、ターボストリームを再びデュアル伝送ストリームに挿入してデュアル伝送ストリームを再構成する。

Claims (9)
- オーディオ信号及びビデオ信号のうち少なくとも1つの信号を第1圧縮方式によって圧縮してノーマルデータストリームを構成する第1圧縮部と、
オーディオ信号及びビデオ信号のうち少なくとも1つの信号を前記第1圧縮方式より圧縮効率の高い第2圧縮方式によって圧縮して付加データストリームを構成する第2圧縮部と、
前記第2圧縮部により構成された付加データストリームをRSエンコーディングするRSエンコーダと、
前記ノーマルデータストリームと前記RSエンコーダによりRSエンコーディングされた付加データストリームをマルチプレクシングして伝送ストリームを構成するTS構成部と、
前記TS構成部により構成された伝送ストリームをRSエンコーディングして伝送するTS処理部と
を含み、
前記TS構成部で前記ノーマルデータストリームとマルチプレクシングされる付加データストリームは、
前記RSエンコーディングされた付加データストリームに、前記TS処理部によるRSエンコーディングの際にパリティを付加するためのパリティ挿入領域が設けられたストリームであり、
前記付加データストリームに対して、前記ノーマルデータストリームとマルチプレクシングする前に第1インターリービングが行われ、マルチプレクシングされた後に第2インターリービングが行われ、
前記TS処理部は、前記ノーマルデータストリームと、前記パリティ挿入領域が設けられた付加データストリームをマルチプレクシングすることを特徴とするデジタル放送送信機。 - 前記第1圧縮方式には、MPEG−2(Moving Picture Experts Group−2)が含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル放送送信機。
- 前記第2圧縮方式には、H.264が含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル放送送信機。
- 第1圧縮方式及び第2圧縮方式は、互いに異なる圧縮方式であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル放送送信機。
- 前記TS構成部は、
前記パリティ挿入領域が付加された付加データストリームをインターリービングするインターリーバと、
前記インターリービングされた付加データストリーム及び前記構成されたノーマルストリームをマルチプレクシングするTS MUXと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデジタル放送送信機。 - オーディオ信号及びビデオ信号のうち少なくとも一つの信号を第1圧縮方式によって圧縮してノーマルデータストリームを構成するステップ、
オーディオ信号及びビデオ信号のうち少なくとも一つの信号を前記第1圧縮方式より圧縮効率の高い第2圧縮方式によって圧縮して付加データストリームを構成するステップと、
前記付加データストリームを構成するステップにより構成された付加データストリームをRSエンコーディングするステップと、
前記ノーマルデータストリームと前記RSエンコーディングステップによりRSエンコーディングされた付加データストリームをマルチプレクシングして伝送ストリームを構成するステップと、
前記伝送ストリームを構成するステップにより構成された伝送ストリームをRSエンコーディングして伝送するステップと、
を含み、
前記伝送ストリームを構成するステップで前記ノーマルデータストリームとマルチプレクシングされる付加データストリームは、
前記RSエンコーディングされた付加データストリームに、前記伝送するステップによるRSエンコーディングの際にパリティを付加するためのパリティ挿入領域が設けられたストリームであり、
前記付加データストリームに対して、前記ノーマルデータストリームとマルチプレクシングする前に第1インターリービングが行われ、マルチプレクシングされた後に第2インターリービングが行われ、
前記伝送ストリームを構成するステップでは、前記ノーマルデータストリームと、前記パリティ挿入領域が設けられた付加データストリームをマルチプレクシングすることを特徴とするデジタル放送送信機のストリーム処理方法。 - 前記第1圧縮方式には、MPEG−2(Moving Picture Experts Group−2)が含まれることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のデジタル放送送信機のストリーム処理方法。
