Description
本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システム(以下、適宜「通信システム」という。)は、従来、ハンドオーバーのために移動局装置(以下、適宜「移動局」という。)で行なわれていたシグネチャの選択を基地局装置(以下、適宜「基地局」という。)で行なう。そして、移動局からのプリアンブルを検出することでハンドオーバーを行なう移動局を特定すると共に、同期ずれ情報を算出し、当該同期ずれ情報を移動局に対して通知する。
第1の実施形態に係る通信システムにおいては、基地局100で選択したシグネチャがハンドオーバー用のシグネチャか否かに応じて、ハンドオーバー完了メッセージ(メッセージ3)およびコンテンションレゾリューション(メッセージ4)の送受信の有無を決める。第2の実施形態に係る通信システムにおいては、ハンドオーバーを行なう移動局200におけるトラフィックのQosを考慮して、ハンドオーバー完了メッセージ(メッセージ3)およびコンテンションレゾリューション(メッセージ4)の送受信の有無を決める点で第1の実施形態に係る通信システムと相違する。
第1の実施形態に係る通信システムにおいては、基地局100で選択したシグネチャがハンドオーバー用のシグネチャか否かに応じてハンドオーバー完了メッセージ(メッセージ3)およびコンテンションレゾリューション(メッセージ4)の送受信の有無を決める。第3の実施形態に係る通信システムにおいては、ハンドオーバー先の基地局でプリアンブルを受信した際のプリアンブルの受信状況を判定して、ハンドオーバー完了メッセージ(メッセージ3)およびコンテンションレゾリューション(メッセージ4)の送受信の有無を決める点で第1の実施形態に係る通信システムと相違する。
第4の実施形態に係る通信システムは、ハンドオーバーを行なう移動局200におけるトラフィックのQosを考慮すると共に、基地局で選択したシグネチャがハンドオーバー用のシグネチャか否かに応じてハンドオーバー完了メッセージ(メッセージ3)およびコンテンションレゾリューション(メッセージ4)の送受信の有無を決める。すなわち、上述した第1の実施形態および第2の実施形態に係る通信システムを組み合わせた実施形態に相当する。

Claims (2)
- 基地局装置へランダムアクセスを行う移動局装置に実装される処理装置であって、
前記基地局装置から受信されたハンドオーバーコマンドに含まれる情報に応じて、ランダムアクセス処理におけるコンテンションレゾリューション処理の要否を判断することを特徴とする処理装置。 - 複数の機能処理部で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の処理装置。
