Description
本技術によれば、ビットストリームの形式変換を行うことができる。特に、再生を行う端末に最適な画質となるように形式変換を行うことが可能となる。
図4に本発明の第1の実施の形態の構成を示す。
次に、第2の実施の形態を説明する。第2の実施の形態において、コンテンツ情報信号を構成する符号化難易度は、動き補償の難易度を示す情報と、イントラ符号の難易度を示す情報とから構成することを特徴とする。この2つの情報からも、第1の実施の形態において図9(A)に示すようなコンテンツの所定のシーンの符号化難易度を知ることが可能である。この場合、図10に示す符号化難易度解析回路141は、例えば、図17に示すように構成される。
このDifficultyは、各セグメント毎に求められる。
このMotion_uncompensabilityも各セグメント毎に求められる。
Claims (3)
- 入力フォーマットでエンコードされた入力ビットストリームを出力フォーマットでエンコードされた出力ビットストリームにトランスコードするデータ変換装置において、
前記出力ビットストリームの画枠に関する情報を含むコンテンツ情報と、前記出力ビットストリームを受信するクライアントの処理能力を示すクライアント情報とを受け取る受け取り手段と、
前記受け取り手段により受け取られた前記コンテンツ情報及び前記クライアント情報に基づいて、前記入力ビットストリームを、トランスコーディングタイプ情報により示される前記出力フォーマットにトランスコードし、前記出力ビットストリームを生成する変換手段と
を有するデータ変換装置。 - 前記画枠に関する情報は画像の縦と横との情報である
請求項1に記載のデータ変換装置。 - 入力フォーマットでエンコードされた入力ビットストリームを出力フォーマットでエンコードされた出力ビットストリームにトランスコードするデータ変換装置のデータ変換方法であって、
受け取り手段が、前記出力ビットストリームの画枠に関する情報を含むコンテンツ情報と、前記出力ビットストリームを受信するクライアントの処理能力を示すクライアント情報とを受け取り、
変換手段が、受け取られた前記コンテンツ情報及び前記クライアント情報に基づいて、前記入力ビットストリームを、トランスコーディングタイプ情報により示される前記出力フォーマットにトランスコードし、前記出力ビットストリームを生成する
