Description
b)工程(a)で得られた混合物を2重量%未満の水分レベルまで乾燥し、
c)工程(b)で得られた混合物を170℃以下の温度での押出し、
d)押出プロファイルを冷却チャンバーを通過させ、
e)押出材を切断して、収集する。
滑剤を160〜180℃の温度および2344〜2413kpa(340〜350psi)の圧力で作動する、25/30SSノズルを用いた噴霧冷却法により調製した。この方法は、加熱速度100℃/minで、145〜155℃、好ましくはおよそ150℃の融点をもつ所望の固形滑剤粒子をもらたした。
全ての例において、組成物材料を10Lのヘンシェルミキサーで1800rpmにて約3分混合した。混合後、複合材を16時間の間、100℃の真空オーブンにて、約90.7〜96.0kPa(680〜720mmHg)の真空度で乾燥した。乾燥した組成物は30mm Werner and Pfleiderer、共回転二軸押出機の38.1×12.7mmダイを通して長方形プロファイルに押出した。供給部からダイへの押出機の設定温度プロファイルは140℃、150℃、150℃、150℃、140℃であった。組成物材料を約10kg/h〜20kg/hの範囲の設定供給速度でK-Tron S200容積式一軸供給機を用いて押出機に供給した。スクリュー速度を175rpmに設定した。押出プロファイルを、切断および収集の前に3組のウォータスプレーを含む0.65mの冷却チャンバーを通過させた。
HDPE-樫木粉
例1-3においては、押出可能な組成物は40%のHDPE共重合体の反応器粉体(Equister(登録商標)Petrothene(登録商標)LB0100−00)およびウィスコンシン州、スコフィールドのAmerican Wood Fibersから入手できる60%の樫4037(40メッシュ)を含む。
HDPE-樫木粉
この例では、様々な量の対照滑剤および滑剤Aを押出可能な組成物に加えた。11〜18kg/hの間の供給速度を用いたHDPE/樫粉末中のこれらの滑剤パッケージの結果を図1および図2に示す。
HDPE-樫木粉
この例では、EBS/ZnSt対照を一定の充填レベルに維持したのに対して、滑剤Bを様々な充填レベルで評価した。滑剤Bは、エチレンジアミンと45〜51%のラウリン酸、17〜20%のミリスチン酸、および5〜10%のカプリル酸およびカプリン酸の両方を含む酸の混合物との反応生成物である。
HDPE-樫木粉(および他の充填剤)
この例では、押出可能な組成物はTimberTechから得られた製品である。これはこの会社の滑剤を含まない市販の製品の1つである。これはHDPEと樫木粉を比率45:55および5〜10%の滑石を含むと考えられる。滑剤Bおよび滑剤BとPOE40ソルビトールヘキサタレート(sorbitol hexatallate)との混合物を4phcで材料に加え、混合物を14kg/hrで押出した。滑剤BのPOE40ソルビトールヘキサタレートに対する比率は9:1であった。結果を図4に示す。
Claims (27)
- 30〜70重量%のポリマーと、70〜30重量%のセルロース繊維材料と、1〜7重量%の滑剤の混和物とを含み、前記滑剤は各々のアルカノイル基に独立に8〜14の炭素原子を含むN,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミンまたはその混合物を含む、ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 滑剤が少なくとも1つのアルカノイル基に12の炭素原子を含む少なくとも1つのN,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミンを含む、請求項1のポリマー−セルロース繊維
組成物。 - N,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミン類の混合物が、それらのアルカノイル基の少なくとも1つに、それぞれ8,10,12および14の炭素原子を含む、各々のN,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミンの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1または2のポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- N,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミン類の混合物中の最も豊富なアルカノイル基が12の炭素原子を含むアルカノイル基である、請求項1〜3のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 滑剤が固体であり滑剤の粒径が90〜150μmである、請求項1〜4のいずれかのポリマー-セルロース繊維組成物。
- 滑剤が固体であり滑剤の粒径が120〜140μmである、請求項1〜4のいずれかのポリマー-セルロース繊維組成物。
- 押出成形のあいだ、100℃/minの加熱速度での滑剤の有効融点が160℃より低い、請求項1〜6のいずれかのポリマー-セルロース繊維組成物。
- ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンである、請求項1〜7のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- セルロース繊維材料が、樫、松または楓木材から、藁、トウモロコシ茎または米の籾殻から、小麦、大麦またはカラス麦の籾殻から、ココナッツ、ピーナッツまたはクルミ殻から、黄麻、麻、きび殻、竹、亜麻、ケナフ、およびあらゆる前記のもののあらゆる組み合わせから誘導された繊維材料から選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- セルロース繊維が木材繊維である、請求項1〜9のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 組成物が60〜40重量%のセルロース繊維を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかのポリマー-セルロース繊維組成物。
- 組成物が2〜4重量%の滑剤を含み、ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンであり、セルロース繊維が松の木粉である、請求項1〜11のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 組成物が3〜6重量%の滑剤を含み、ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンであり、セルロース繊維が樫の木粉である、請求項1〜12のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 組成物が40〜60重量%のポリマーを含む、請求項1〜13のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- さらに2〜10重量%の滑石を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれかのポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- 押出ポリマー−セルロース組成物を調製する方法であって、
f)30〜70重量%のポリマーと、70〜30重量%のセルロース繊維と、各々のアルカノイル基に8〜14の炭素原子を含むN,N’-ビスアルカノイルエチレンジアミン類の混合物を含む1〜7重量%の滑剤との混和物を形成し、
g)工程(a)で得られた混合物を2重量%未満の水分レベルまで乾燥し、
h)工程(b)で得られた混合物を170℃を以下の温度で押出し、
i)押出プロファイルを冷却チャンバーを通過させ、
j)押出材を切断し、収集する
ことを含む方法。 - セルロース繊維が、樫、松、楓、藁、トウモロコシ茎、米の籾殻、小麦、大麦およびカラス麦の籾殻、ココナッツ殻、ピーナッツ殻、クルミ殻、黄麻、麻、きび殻、竹、亜麻、ケナフ、およびそれらの組み合わせである、請求項16による方法。
- セルロース繊維が10〜100メッシュのサイズで変化する繊維の混合物である、請求項16または請求項17の方法。
- ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンである、請求項16〜18のいずれかによる方法。
- ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物が60〜40重量%のセルロース繊維を含む、請求項16〜19のいずれかによる方法。
- ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物が60〜40重量%のポリマーを含む、請求項16〜20のいずれかによる方法。
- ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物が2〜4重量%の滑剤を含み、ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンであり、セルロース繊維が松の木粉である、請求項16〜21のいずれかによる方法。
- ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物が3〜6重量%の滑剤を含み、ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンであり、セルロース繊維が樫木材粉末である、請求項16〜22のいずれかによる方法。
- 請求項16〜23のいずれかの方法で得られた押出ポリマー−セルロース繊維組成物。
- -C(=O)R部分はカプリロイル、カプリノイル、ラウロイルおよびミリストイルをから成る群より独立に選択される、請求項25または26による使用。
