Description
本出願は、2004年5月25日に出願され、“生バクテリア体”を発明の名称とする特許出願第10/853,346号の一部継続出願である。
本発明は、休眠微生物体、特に休眠状態にある生微生物を液体流体キャリヤまたは媒体に懸濁させ、この懸濁体を簡単にポンプ輸送できるようにするとともに、微生物の生命を維持した状態で懸濁を維持できるようにした休眠生微生物体に関する。より具体的には、液体状態にあるキャリヤを脱湿(脱水)化し、食品や飼料に適用するまで、あるいは動物などに直接適用するまで、微生物が活性化しないように抑えておく微生物体に関する。なお、飼料(feeds、forages)や動物などを以下“対象ホスト”と呼ぶことにする。
生バクテリア体は、発酵および/または消化を強化するために、牛馬飼料、その他の飼料などに配合することが多い。従来製品は大きく2つのカテゴリーに分類され、いずれも乾燥した可溶粉末か、あるいは乾燥した不溶顆粒の形を取るものである。乾燥した顆粒製品の場合は、通常被処理牛馬飼料1トンにつき4〜16オンスの量でGandyボックスなどの計量装置によって対象ホストに直接配合する。乾燥した可溶製品については、最初に水で加湿し、加湿後48時間以内に対象ホストに配合する必要がある。なお、配合は液体ポンプ装置で行い、配合量は牛馬飼料1トンにつき37グラム〜1ガロンである。
なお、生の休眠とは、休眠状態で生存していることを意味する。

Claims (15)
- 休眠状態にある成長可能な微生物の安定化混合物を作成する方法であって、
鉱油を、又は動物源、植物源および石油源のいずれかから得られる処理油を予めろ過システムによる除湿処理に供し、更に加熱処理した後、粘度調整並びに懸濁剤としてのポリマーをこれに混合して無水化液体混合物を作成し、
該液体混合物に掃水剤を添加し、
更に該液体混合物に必要とする成長可能な微生物を混合して最終混合物を得、
該最終混合物を耐水性容器内に包装することにより該微生物を長期間に亘り休眠状態に維持させるのに十分に除湿された微生物の安定化混合物を作成する方法。
- 上記掃水剤が親水性分子シーブ吸着剤からなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記吸着剤が、天然ゼオライトまたは合成ゼオライトからなる請求項2記載の方法。
- 上記ゼオライトが、結晶性金属アルミノシリケートからなる請求項3記載の方法。
- 上記ゼオライトが、アルカリ金属アルミノシリケートからなる請求項3記載の方法。
- 上記ゼオライトが、ナトリウムアルミノシリケートからなる請求項3記載の方法。
- 飼料、牛馬飼料などに適用される安定化液状混合物であって、
鉱油を、又は動物源、植物源および石油源のいずれかから得られる処理油を予めろ過システムによる除湿処理に供し、更に加熱処理した後、粘度調整並びに懸濁剤としてのポリマーをこれに混合して作成された無水化液体混合物に、掃水剤を添加すると共に、必要とする成長可能な微生物を懸濁させ、これを耐水性容器内に包装してなるものであって、該微生物を長期間に亘り休眠状態に維持させるのに十分に除湿された安定化液状混合物。
- 上記掃水剤が、親水性分子シーブ吸着剤からなる請求項7記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記吸着剤が、天然ゼオライトまたは合成ゼオライトからなる請求項8記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記ゼオライトが、結晶性金属アルミノシリケートからなる請求項9記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記ゼオライトが、アルカリ金属アルミノシリケートからなる請求項9記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記ゼオライトが、ナトリウムアルミノシリケートからなる請求項9記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記微生物が、生バクテリアワクチンからなる請求項7記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記微生物が、生ウイルスワクチンからなる請求項7記載の安定化液状混合物。
- 上記微生物が、変性又は未変性パソゲンからなる請求項7記載の安定化液状混合物。
