Claims (16)
- レシプロエンジンがスイッチを切られている間、補助電力負荷に電力を供給するための補助発電装置であって、
前記レシプロエンジンの排気導管中に処理のために配置された燃焼器と、
前記燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給するための燃焼器の入口と流体連結して配置されたコンプレッサーと、
前記燃焼器からの燃焼生成物を電気エネルギーに変換するために配置されたタービン発電機と、
前記補助電力負荷への電気エネルギーの供給を制御するための制御装置と、
を備える補助発電装置。 - 前記燃焼器が、触媒による還元段階燃焼器である請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記燃焼器が、第1酸化段階及び第2還元段階を備える請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記燃焼器の燃料が、前記レシプロエンジンで使用される燃料と異なる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記コンプレッサーが、電動コンプレッサーである請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の装置を備える車両。
- 前記エンジンと前記燃焼器との間の前記エンジン排気導管に配置されたターボチャージャーを更に備える請求項6に記載の車両。
- レシプロエンジンが排気導管を有し、燃焼器が前記排気導管に配置され、コンプレッサーが前記燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給するために燃焼器の入口と流体連結して配置され、タービン発電機が前記燃焼器からの燃焼ガスによって駆動されるよう配置される、前記レシプロエンジンがスイッチを切られている間、補助電力負荷に電力を供給する方法であって、
前記コンプレッサーに圧縮空気を含み、前記燃焼器の入口に前記圧縮空気を導入し、燃焼を起こすために前記圧縮空気と燃料を混合し、前記電力生成用の前記タービン発電機を駆動するための前記燃焼ガスを使用し、且つ、前記補助電力負荷に前記電力の少なくとも一部を供給する方法。 - エンジンが排気導管を有し、燃焼器が前記排気導管に配置され、前記燃焼器が前記排気導管に排気ガスを流体連結する入口を有する、レシプロエンジンを作動する方法であって、前記燃焼器の入口に前記排気ガスを導入し、燃焼を起こすために前記ガスと燃料を混合し、且つ、大気中に前記燃焼したガスを排出することを備える方法。
- 前記大気中に前記燃焼したガスを排出する工程の前に、触媒コンバーター及び/又は粒子フィルタに前記排気ガスを通過させる工程を更に含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記レシプロエンジンが、前記エンジンの空気取り入れ口と排気導管との間に配置された排気ガス再循環システムを更に備え、前記排気導管中の前記ガスの一部が、前記排気ガス再循環システムを介して前記エンジンの空気取り入れ口に再循環されて戻り、且つ、前記排気導管中の前記ガスの一部が、前記燃焼器を通って流れる、請求項9又は請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼器を通って流れる前記ガスの一部が、前記排気導管中の前記排気ガスの実質的に50%を含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記エンジンが、空気取り入れ口と、前記空気取り入れ口の空気導管に配置されるコンプレッサーを含むターボチャージャーとを更に備え、エンジン空気が前記空気取り入れ口に入る前に、前記コンプレッサーでエンジン空気を圧縮する工程を更に備える請求項9又は請求項10又は請求項11又は請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼器が、触媒による還元段階燃焼器である請求項8又は請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記燃焼器が、第1酸化段階及び第2還元段階を備える請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記レシプロエンジンに使用する燃料とは異なる燃料を前記燃焼器に供給することを含む請求項8〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
