Description
一実施例による方法は、
陸上移動無線(LMR)ネットワーク及びセルラーデータネットワークを用いてLMRコンテンツを伝達する伝達方法であって、
LMR無線機が、LMR応用層プロトコルに従ってフォーマットされたLMRコンテンツを生成する工程と、
少なくとも1つのLMR移送層プロトコルを使用して前記LMR無線機からLMR基地局へLMRエアリンクを介して前記LMRコンテンツを伝達する工程と、
前記LMR基地局が、前記LMRコンテンツを受信し、インターネットプロトコル層におけるインターネットプロトコル(IP)パケットスイッチングヘッダを用いて、前記LMR基地局における前記LMRコンテンツをパケットスイッチング移送データグラムにカプセル化する工程と、
前記LMR基地局が、前記カプセル化の後に、パケットスイッチングセルラ移送層プロトコルを用いて前記セルラーデータネットワークを介してカプセル化された前記LMRコンテンツを伝達する工程と
を有する伝達方法である。

Claims (17)
- 陸上移動無線(LMR)ネットワーク及びセルラーデータネットワークを用いてLMRコンテンツを伝達する伝達方法であって、
LMR無線機が、LMR応用層プロトコルに従ってフォーマットされたLMRコンテンツを生成する工程と、
少なくとも1つのLMR移送層プロトコルを使用して前記LMR無線機からLMR基地局へLMRエアリンクを介して前記LMRコンテンツを伝達する工程と、
前記LMR基地局が、前記LMRコンテンツを受信し、インターネットプロトコル層におけるインターネットプロトコル(IP)パケットスイッチングヘッダを用いて、前記LMR基地局における前記LMRコンテンツをパケットスイッチング移送データグラムにカプセル化する工程と、
前記LMR基地局が、前記カプセル化の後に、パケットスイッチングセルラ移送層プロトコルを用いて前記セルラーデータネットワークを介してカプセル化された前記LMRコンテンツを伝達する工程と
を有する伝達方法。 - 前記LMRコンテンツを伝達する多層プロトコルスタックを使用する工程をさらに有する、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 前記LMRネットワーク又は前記セルラーデータネットワークの何れを介して前記LMRコンテンツを伝達するかどうかを自動的に決定する工程をさらに有する、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 前記パケットスイッチングセルラ移送層プロトコルはインタネットプロトコル(IP)を含む、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 前記セルラーデータネットワークは、公共ネットワーク及び私的ネットワークのうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 前記複数のLMRユニットの間で終端間暗号化を実行する工程をさらに有する、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 前記複数のLMRユニットの間で終端間デジタルコード化を実行する工程をさらに有する、請求項1記載の伝達方法。
- 陸上移動無線(LMR)ネットワークを介して複数のLMRユニットと通信することが可能なパケットスイッチング方式のLMR基盤と、
LMRエアリンクを介して受信したRF信号を処理するLMR基地局と
を有し、前記LMR基地局は、LMR応用層プロトコルに従うフォーマットを有するLMRデータ部を少なくとも有するLMRコンテンツを処理し、セルラーデータネットワークを介した通信の前に、インターネットプロトコルパケットスイッチング移送プロトコルに従って、前記LMRコンテンツを含む前記受信したRF信号をカプセル化し、
前記受信したLMRコンテンツの前記LMRデータ部は、前記LMRネットワーク及び前記セルラーデータネットワークを介する前記LMRコンテンツの通信において同じである、無線通信システム。 - 前記セルラーデータネットワークを介して通信するよう構成された複数のセルラーデータネットワーク通信サービス領域と、前記LMRネットワークを介して通信するよう構成された複数のLMRネットワーク通信サービス領域とをさらに有する、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記パケットスイッチング方式のLMR基盤は、2層プロトコルスタックを使用して前記LMRコンテンツを伝達するよう構成されている、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記LMRコンテンツは、プロジェクト25(TIA102)及びETSI TETRAエアリンクプロトコルのうち一方を使用して通信される、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記LMRコンテンツは、オープンスカイ・メイコム独自仕様フォーマット、ネットワークファースト、及びEDACSシステム独自仕様フォーマットのうちの一つを使用して通信される、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記LMRコンテンツは、汎用パケット無線サービス(GPRS)によるネットワークサービス、GMS用に強化されたデータ速度(EDGE)によるネットワークサービス、データの最適化(EV−DO)によるサービス、汎用携帯電話サービス(UMTS)によるネットワークサービス及び802.11システム規格によるネットワークサービスのうちの一つを使用して通信される、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記LMRコンテンツ及び前記LMRネットワークは、異なるエアリンクプロトコルに基づいて構成されている、請求項8記載の無線通信システム。
- パケットスイッチングプロトコル方式のインタフェースであって、
陸上移動無線(LMR)移送層プロトコルを用いてLMRネットワークによる通信のためにセルラーデータネットワークから受信したデジタル信号を処理するLMR基地局のプロセッサを有し、前記受信したデジタル信号は、
LMR応用層プロトコルに従うフォーマットを有するLMRデータ部と、
前記LMRデータ部をカプセル化したパケットスイッチング移送プロトコル部とを有し、
前記プロセッサは、前記LMR基地局において、前記LMR移送層プロトコルの代わりにパケットスイッチング移送プロトコルを使用し、前記LMRネットワークを超えた前記LMRデータ部の通信を促し、前記LMRデータ部は、前記セルラーデータネットワークから前記LMR基地局への該LMRデータ部の通信において同じである、パケットスイッチングプロトコル方式のインタフェース。 - 前記パケットスイッチングプロトコルカプセル化部は、LMR応用層及びLMR移送層を有する多層プロトコルスタックを使用して通信される、請求項15記載のパケットスイッチングプロトコル方式のインタフェース。
- 前記パケットスイッチングプロトコルカプセル化部は、前記セルラーデータネットワークを使用して通信される、請求項15記載のパケットスイッチングプロトコル方式のインタフェース。
