Description
Claims (11)
- 筒状のケーシングと、前記ケーシング内に収容され前記ケーシング内にシールされる電極コアおよび電解液とを備え、前記ケーシングの底端部は閉止され、前記ケーシングの他方の端部は、前記電極コアと前記電解液とが詰められた後、端部カバーによってシールされ、前記電極コアは、陽極板と、陰極板と、陽極タブと、陰極タブとを備える二次電池であって、
安全装置が前記ケーシングの底部の内面と前記電極コアとの間に取り付けられ、絶縁部材が前記安全装置と前記電極コアとの間に設けられ、前記安全装置は導電性の電流遮断部材と適当な高さを有する絶縁保持部材とを備え、前記電流遮断部材は支持部と組立溶接部とを備え、前記支持部は、前記保持部材上で前記電流遮断部材を支持するように配置され、前記組立溶接部は前記ケーシングの底部の内面に溶接され、前記電極コアの前記陽極タブと前記陰極タブの一方が前記電流遮断部材の前記支持部に電気的に接続され、絶縁材料が、前記ケーシングの壁部と前記陽極タブ及び前記陰極タブの一方の極性と同一の極性を有する前記陽極板または前記陰極板との間に設けられ、前記支持部は前記保持部材上に固定されて前記電流遮断部材を前記保持部材上に支持し、または前記支持部は前記保持部材と前記絶縁部材との間に強固に保持されて前記電流遮断部材を前記保持部材上に支持することを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電流遮断部材は逆L字型の縦断面を有し、逆L字型の前記電流遮断部材の水平部分は前記支持部として使用され、逆L字型の前記電流遮断部材の直立部分の自由端は前記組立溶接部として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記安全装置は複数の前記電流遮断部材を備えることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電流遮断部材は溝形状構造をしており、前記組立溶接部は前記溝形状構造の底部の外面上に位置し、前記溝形状構造の壁部が前記支持部として使用され、または前記溝形状構造の壁部から外側に延出する支持アームが前記支持部として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電流遮断部材はホッパー形状本体を備え、前記ホッパー形状本体から外側に延出するフランジが前記支持部として使用され、前記ホッパー形状本体の底部の外面が前記組立溶接部として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 貫通孔が、前記電流遮断部材の前記ホッパー形状本体の壁部に設けられることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記支持部の厚さは0.2mm以上であり、前記電流遮断部材の前記ホッパー形状本体の底部の厚さは、0.01mm〜1mmであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電流遮断部材の前記ホッパー形状本体の底部の厚さは、0.05mm〜0.3mmであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の二次電池。
- 前記保持部材は環状構造をしており、前記環状構造の2つの端面の間に適当な高さが保持され、前記電流遮断部材の前記組立溶接部が前記環状構造のキャビティを介して前記ケーシングの底部の内面に溶接されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記安全装置の前記電流遮断部材の前記組立溶接部と前記ケーシングの底部の内面との間の溶接強度は、前記電流遮断部材の引張強度よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記安全装置の前記電流遮断部材の前記組立溶接部と前記ケーシングの底部の内面との間の溶接強度は、前記電流遮断部材の引張強度よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
