Description
(1)炉内観察用の中空パイプの先端部分に先細り形状を有するパイプ誘導具を取り付け、該パイプ誘導具を介して前記中空パイプを弾性スポンジに貫通させた後に前記パイプ誘導具を前記中空パイプから取り外し、前記弾性スポンジと前記中空パイプとを密着状態として連結させた閉塞用具を用いてブローパイプを閉塞することを特徴とする高炉羽口部の閉塞方法。
図4は、高炉の羽口部分の概略図であり、図1の閉塞用具を用いて羽口部の空気吸い込みを防止している状態を示す。図4において、10は羽口であり、11は羽口に連続したブローパイプである。高炉の休風時には、ブローパイプ11内に閉塞用具を挿入して、図4中に太矢印で示した空気の流入を防止する。炉内観察は、閉塞用具の端部2bに炉内観察用窓部を形成して、炉内への空気の流入を伴うことなく、随時行なうことが可能である。以上のように、簡単な作業で羽口部の閉塞作業と炉内観察を行なうことができる。

Claims (1)
- 炉内観察用の中空パイプの先端部分に先細り形状を有するパイプ誘導具を取り付け、該パイプ誘導具を介して前記中空パイプを弾性スポンジに貫通させた後に前記パイプ誘導具を前記中空パイプから取り外し、前記弾性スポンジと前記中空パイプとを密着状態として連結させた閉塞用具を用いてブローパイプを閉塞することを特徴とする高炉羽口部の閉塞方法。
