Description
本願は、2005年7月7日付けで出願された「塞栓症保護装置およびその使用方法」と題する米国特許出願第11/177,473号に基づく国際特許出願であり、この米国特許出願はすべての目的において参考として本願に一体のものとして統合される。
本発明は、血管内の閉塞物を緩和若しくは排除するための手術中または手術後において、血流中に塞栓が形成されることを防止するための装置および方法に関する。
Claims (15)
- シース排出装置であって、
血流と流体連通するように構成された、遠位端および近位端の間に延びる排出ルーメンを有する第1の伸長管状部と、
遠位端および近位端の間に延びる膨張ルーメンを有する第2の伸長管状部と、
第1の伸長管状部の遠位端に取り付けられ、第2の伸長管状部の膨張ルーメンと流体連通するチャンバを有する拡張可能なシール部と、
真空チャンバ、圧力チャンバ、およびシャトル機構を含む圧力調整機構を有するガス膨張器とを備え、
シャトル機構は、圧力チャンバが、高圧ガス源および第2の伸長管状部の膨張ルーメンの近位端と流体連通する出口ポートのいずれか一方に択一的に流体連通するように構成されたことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
拡張可能なシール部は、バルーンであることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
第1の伸長管状部の遠位端に取り付けられた柔軟性先端部をさらに有することを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項3に記載の装置であって、
柔軟性先端部は、第1の伸長管状部の遠位端および拡張可能部の遠位端に取り付けられたことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
第1の伸長管状部の周りに捲回されたねじれ弾性コイルをさらに有することを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5に記載の装置であって、
ねじれ弾性コイルの隣接する1つまたはそれ以上の隣接する巻線が一体にレーザ溶接されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5に記載の装置であって、
第2の伸長管状部は、ねじれ弾性コイル上であって第1の伸長管状部に隣接して固定されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項7に記載の装置であって、
ねじれ弾性コイルおよび第2の伸長管状部を包囲する封入層をさらに有することを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項8に記載の装置であって、
封入層は、ポリエーテルブロックアミドからなることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
シース排出装置は、ガイドカテーテルの内径と実質的に同じ寸法の外径を有するように構成され、
シース排出装置の外径は、滑らかな被膜で覆われていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項10に記載の装置であって、
拡張可能部は、滑らかな被膜で覆われていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項10に記載の装置であって、
シース排出装置は、6Frガイドカテーテルと実質的に同じ寸法の外径を有するように構成されていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項10に記載の装置であって、
シース排出装置は、7Frガイドカテーテルと実質的に同じ寸法の外径を有するように構成されていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項10に記載の装置であって、
シース排出装置は、8Frガイドカテーテルと実質的に同じ寸法の外径を有するように構成されていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
排出ルーメン内をスライド可能に挿入可能であって、排出ルーメンの遠位端を超えて配置されるように排出ルーメンの開口部から延長可能な第3の伸長管状部をさらに有し、
第3の伸長管状部は、近位端および遠位端の間に延びるルーメンと、ルーメンと血流と流体連通するように遠位端に設けられた開口部とを有し、
第3の伸長管状部は、血流に流体を供給する灌流手段を用いて、ルーメンの近位端に接続されることを特徴とする装置。
