Claims (5)
- 排気ガス管に取り付けられるのに適した導管であって、連続壁入口端区分と連続壁中間区分と穿孔壁出口端区分とを有する導管と、
前記導管の前記出口端区分の軸方向端部に取り付けられて該端部を閉口するキャップと、
前記導管の前記入口端区分に取り付けられて、該導管の該入口端区分へ流入する排気ガス流へ大気を吸入する希釈器と、
を包含し、
前記中間区分が、前記希釈器により吸入された大気を排気ガスと混合させる該希釈器とディフューザとの間の混合器区分となり、前記出口端区分が、該混合した大気および排気ガスを前記導管の径方向外側へ排出する穿孔を有する前記ディフューザとなり、前記穿孔が不均一なサイズであり、前記混合器区分の近くで、より大きなサイズの穿孔となるように分配される、エンジン排気のための装置。 - 前記装置が取り付けられる前記排気ガス管の直径より大きな直径を持つように前記導管が選択されるため、該導管の内径と該排気管の外径との間に環状間隙が設けられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導管の前記入口端部に取り付けられる円錐形スカートを前記希釈器が包含する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が取り付けられる排気ガス管の開口面積より広い開口面積を前記穿孔が画定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記穿孔が前記管の前記出口端部に均一に分配される、請求項1に記載の装置。
