Claims (47)
- 第1のガイドワイヤにより主要血管内に案内され、かつ主要血管から分岐する側枝血管内に第2のガイドワイヤにて案内される分枝を有し、非拡張形状から拡張形状に拡張可能であるステントを搬送するためのステント送達システムにおいて、
前記第1のガイドワイヤが通される第1のガイドワイヤハウジングを画定するカテーテル軸と、同カテーテル軸上に配置され、非拡張状態と拡張状態との間で変化するバルーンとを有するカテーテルと、
バルーンの少なくとも一部分のまわりに配置された遠位部分と、バルーンに近接するカテーテル軸の少なくとも一部分のまわりに配置された近位部分とを有し、少なくとも遠位部分が、バルーンが非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張されたときに非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張可能であり、バルーンより長く、かつカテーテル軸より短く、非拡張状態においてバルーンの少なくとも一部分のまわりにおいて回転可能であるシースと、
前記シース上において同シースと一体回転可能に配置され、第2のガイドワイヤが通される第2のガイドワイヤハウジングとを備え、
さらに、前記ステントはシース及び第2のガイドワイヤハウジングのまわりに配置され、非拡張形状においてこれらシース及び第2のガイドワイヤハウジングと一体回転し、第1のガイドワイヤを主要血管に通すための第1の開口と、第2のガイドワイヤを分枝よ側枝血管に通すための第2の開口とを含むステント送達システム。 - シースが第1の材料と第2の材料で構成され、第2の材料が第1の材料より堅い請求項1に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第1の材料が、第2の材料の曲げ率値より小さい曲げ率値を有する請求項2に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第1の材料が、第2の材料の曲げ率値より大きい曲げ率値を有する請求項2に記載のステント送達システム。
- シースの遠位部分が第1の材料からなり、シースの近位部分の少なくとも一部分が第2の材料からなる、請求項4に記載のステント送達システム。
- シースが第3の材料で構成され、第3の材料が、第1の材料と第2の材料より堅く、シースの近位部分が近位区分と遠位区分を有し、遠位区分が第2の材料からなり、近位区分が第3の材料からなる、請求項5に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第3の材料が、第1の材料の曲げ率より大きい曲げ率を有する、請求項6に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングが、ポリイソブチレン、ポリウレタン、シリコーンゴム、SBS、SEBS、SIS、ラテックス、ステンレス鋼、ニチノール、およびこれらの任意の組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つから構成された、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングの遠位部分が、ステントの第2の開口を実質的に半径方向に通る、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングが、シースの少なくとも一部分より柔軟である、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- シースがシース壁を画定し、ガイドワイヤハウジングは長さ方向における大部分がシース壁内に収容された、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- シースがシース壁厚を有し、シースの遠位部分のシース壁厚が、シースの近位部分のシース壁厚より小さい、請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 近位部分のシース壁厚が、0.005cm〜0.05cmである、請求項12に記載のステント送達システム。
- 遠位部分のシース壁厚が、約0.005cm〜約0.05cmである、請求項13に記載のステント送達システム。
- シースが均一の材料にて構成される請求項12に記載のステント送達システム。
- 近位部分のシース壁厚と遠位部分のシース壁厚が、段差によって分けられている、請求項12に記載のステント送達システム。
- 近位部分のシース壁厚と遠位部分のシース壁厚が、シース壁厚の薄くなる部分を経て遷移する、請求項12に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第1のガイドワイヤにより主要血管内に案内され、かつ主要血管から分岐する側枝血管内に第2のガイドワイヤにて案内される分枝を有し、非拡張形状から拡張形状に拡張可能であるステントを搬送するためのステント送達システムにおいて、
前記第1のガイドワイヤが通される第1のガイドワイヤハウジングを画定するカテーテル軸を有するカテーテルと、
カテーテル軸上に配置され、近位部分と遠位部分とを有し、少なくとも1つの可撓性材料で構成され、各部分において非拡張状態と拡張状態の間で変形し、各部分の直径が非拡張状態より拡張状態の方が大きいバルーンと、
バルーンの少なくとも一部分のまわりに回転可能に配置され、バルーンが非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張されたときに非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張可能であり、少なくとも1つの非可撓性の材料で構成された回転式シースと、
前記シース上において同シースと一体回転可能に配置され、第2のガイドワイヤが通される第2のガイドワイヤハウジングとを備え、
さらに、前記ステントはシース及び第2のガイドワイヤハウジングのまわりに配置され、非拡張形状においてこれらシース及び第2のガイドワイヤハウジングと一体回転し、第1のガイドワイヤを主要血管に通すための第1の開口と、第2のガイドワイヤを分枝よ側枝血管に通すための第2の開口とを含むステント送達システム。 - 回転式シースが、非拡張状態から拡張状態へと非弾性的に拡張する請求項18に記載のステント送達システム。
- 回転式シースが非拡張状態のときに、回転式シースがバルーンのまわりに非拡張状態で折り畳まれており、回転式シースが拡張状態に拡張したときに、回転式シースがバルーンのまわりに展開される請求項18または19に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングが、ポリイソブチレン、ポリウレタン、シリコーンゴム、SBS、SEBS、SIS、ラテックス、ステンレス鋼、ニチノールおよびこれらの任意の組み合わせから成るグループの少なくとも1つの部材で少なくとも部分的に構成された、請求項18乃至20のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングが、回転式シースの内側面に係合された、請求項18乃至21のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングが、回転式シースの外側面に係合された、請求項18乃至21のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 非拡張形状のステントの少なくとも一部分が、第2のガイドワイヤハウジングに重なっている、請求項18乃至23のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のガイドワイヤハウジングの遠位部分が、ステントの第2の開口を経て径方向に延びる請求項18乃至24のいずれか1項に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のシースをさらに有し、第2のシースが少なくとも1つの非可撓性材料で構成され、第2のシースは、バルーンが非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張されたときに非拡張状態から拡張状態に拡張でき、回転式シースが、バルーンの近位部分のまわりに回転可能に配置され、第2のシースが、バルーンの遠位部分のまわりに配置された、請求項25に記載のステント送達システム。
- 拡張状態において、回転式シースが、拡張状態の第2のシースの直径より大きい直径を有し、拡張状態のバルーンの近位部分の直径が、拡張状態の回転式シースの直径より大きくならないように制限され、拡張状態のバルーンの遠位部分の直径が、拡張状態の第2のシースの直径より大きくならないように制限された、請求項26に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のステントをさらに有し、第2のステントが、非拡張形状から拡張形状に拡張可能であり、非拡張形状で第2のステントが第2のシースの少なくとも一部分のまわりに配置された、請求項27に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のシースが、バルーンの遠位部分のまわりで回転可能である請求項28に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のシースが、回転式シースとは独立して回転可能である請求項28に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のシースが、カテーテルの少なくとも一部分に固定された、請求項28に記載のステント送達システム。
- 第2のシースが、バルーンの遠位部分のまわりで回転可能であり、回転式シースと第2のシースが少なくとも部分的に重なる、請求項28に記載のステント送達システム。
- 回転式シースと第2のシースが互いに固定された、請求項31に記載のステント送達システム。
- 回転式シースの一部分と第2のシースの一部分が、長手方向において離間されて空間を画定し、ガイドワイヤハウジングの遠位部分がその空間を貫通する請求項32に記載のステント送達システム。
- 少なくとも1つの可撓性の材料が、シリコンゴム、ウレタン、ポリイソブチレン、ポリウレタン、SBS、SEBS、SIS、およびこれらの任意の組み合わせのうちの1つであるの請求項18に記載のステント送達システム。

- バルーンカバーが、非拡張状態から拡張状態へと非弾性的に拡張される請求項37に記載のステント送達システム。
- バルーンカバーが近位部分と遠位部分を有し、バルーンカバーの近位部分がバルーンの近位部分のまわりに配置され、バルーンカバーの遠位部分がバルーンの遠位部分のまわりに配置され、バルーンカバーの近位部分が複数の開口を画定する請求項37に記載のステント送達システム。
- バルーンカバーの近位部分が、拡張状態において、拡張状態のバルーンカバーの遠位部分の直径より大きい直径を有する、請求項39に記載のステント送達システム。
- バルーンが拡張状態にあるとき、バルーンの近位部分の部分が、バルーンカバーの近位部分の開口を半径方向外方に通り、バルーンの近位部分の部分が、拡張状態の回転式シースの直径によって制限された直径に拡張する、請求項39に記載のステント送達システム。

- 回転式シースが脆弱部分を備え、脆弱部分が、非拡張位置のクラウンの位置に対応し、拡張状態において、脆弱部分が、回転式シースの他の部分から半径方向に延在してクラウンを拡張位置に拡張する半径方向の突出部を画定する、請求項43に記載のステント送達システム。
- ステントの少なくとも一部分が、少なくとも1つの治療薬で被覆された、請求項18に記載のステント送達システム。
- 少なくとも1つの治療薬が、抗血栓薬剤、遺伝物質、非遺伝物質、気泡材料およびこれらの任意の組み合わせから成るグループの少なくとも1つの部材から選択された少なくとも1つの非遺伝子治療薬である、請求項45に記載のステント送達システム。
- 少なくとも1つの治療薬が、少なくとも1つの重合体被膜を含む、請求項45に記載のステント送達システム。
