Claims (3)
- 軸方向にのびる複数の直線状スプラインみぞが外周面に形成された軸と、軸が通されて軸のスプラインみぞに対応するスプラインみぞが形成された外筒と、軸と外筒との間に配設された複数のボールとを備えており、軸のスプラインみぞおよび外筒のスプラインみぞによって形成された主通路と主通路の両端部に連通する戻し通路とによってボール循環路が形成されているボールスプラインにおいて、
軸のスプラインみぞを周方向の両側から挟む肩部が軸の外周に、外筒のスプラインみぞを周方向の両側から挟む肩部が外筒の内周に、各肩部とボールとの間に第1の回転方向隙間が形成されるようにそれぞれ設けられており、すべての主通路にあるボールが時計方向および反時計方向の両方向のトルクを負担するとともに、
戻し通路の主通路と平行な部分は、この部分を周方向の両側から挟む肩部が外筒内周および軸外周にそれぞれ設けられることで形成されており、肩部とボールとの間に、第1の回転方向隙間よりも大きい第2の回転方向隙間が形成されており、第2の回転方向隙間が、通常のトルク時には隙間が残っており、過大トルク時に詰まる大きさに設定されていることにより、過大トルク負荷時に戻し通路にあるボールがトルクを負担することを特徴とするボールスプライン。 - 1対の主通路同士が互いに接近して設けられ、1対の主通路のうち反時計方向側にある主通路についてはその反時計方向側に戻し通路が設けられ、時計方向側にある主通路についてはその時計方向側に戻し通路が設けられることで、1対のボール循環路が形成され、反時計方向の負荷トルクが小さい間は、時計方向側の主通路だけで負担し、反時計方向の負荷トルクが大きくなった時点で、反時計方向側の主通路においてもトルクを負担するようになされており、時計方向の負荷トルクが小さい間は、反時計方向側の主通路だけで負担し、時計方向の負荷トルクが大きくなった時点で、時計方向側の主通路においてもトルクを負担するようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1のボールスプライン。
- 軸の外周面にねじみぞが形成されており、軸が通されて軸のねじみぞに対応するねじ用ボール循環路が形成されたねじ用ナットと、ねじ用ナットのねじ用ボール循環路に配設された複数のねじ用ボールとをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1または2のボールスプライン。
