Description
このような平面部は、溝壁に0.1mm以上の幅の帯状に設けられる平面部であることが、上記作用効果を確実に得るために好ましい。なお、転がり軸受の型式と大きさに応じて平面部の幅は変更されるが、より好ましくは0.5mm以上であり、例えば溝の上端から3/4まで、好ましくは1/2までの上縁部分に設けることが好ましい。
図1および図2に示すように、実施形態の転がり軸受は、転がり軸受の外輪1の外周面に2本の周溝2を形成し、外輪1の外周面より径方向外側に突出するように設ける予圧調整用の樹脂バンド4を周溝2に嵌め合わせた状態に設け、ハウジング5に対して樹脂バンド4を圧接させながら軸方向に圧入して予圧をかけて固定される予圧固定用の転がり軸受であり、周溝2の底面から立ち上がる一対の溝壁3、3´のうち、圧入方向に対して後方の溝壁3と溝底2aはR面部2bを介してなだらかに連続させて設け、R面部2bに連続する溝壁3に外輪1の外周面に直交する平面部3a(幅0.1mm以上のもの)を設けている。なお、図2中の符号6は内輪、7は球状の転動体を示している。
そのため、樹脂バンド4の縁が周溝2の縁から外側へ突出することがなくなり、そのために転がり軸受をハウジング5に可及的に小さな力で圧入できるようになる。

Claims (2)
- 転がり軸受の外輪の外周面に周溝を形成し、前記外輪の外周面より径方向外側に突出するように設ける予圧調整用の樹脂バンドを前記周溝に密着させて嵌め合わせた状態に設け、ハウジングに対して軸方向に圧入して予圧をかけて固定される予圧固定用の転がり軸受において、
前記周溝の底面から立ち上がる一対の溝壁のうち、前記圧入方向に対して後方の溝壁と溝底はR面を介してなだらかに連続させて設けると共に、前記R面に連続する溝壁に外輪の外周面に直交する平面部を溝の上端から3/4までの上縁部分に0.1mm以上の幅の帯状に設けたことを特徴とする予圧固定用の転がり軸受。 - 樹脂バンドが、周溝に樹脂を注入して外輪と一体に成型されたものである請求項1に記載の予圧固定用の転がり軸受。
