Description
該容器本体内部に摺動自在に配設され、該容器本体内部を、前記液体燃料を収容する燃料貯蔵室と、前記押出手段が収容される押出手段収容室とに区画する隔壁部材と、
前記接続口に設けられ、前記液体燃料の流通を開放または遮断するバルブとを備えてなる燃料電池用燃料容器であって、
前記容器本体と前記隔壁部材とが摺接する面に生じる摩擦力が10N以下であることを特徴とするものである。
さらに本体ケース63の内面には、ダイヤフラム62の筒部材挿通孔61bと連通する位置に筒部材収容室632が設けられ、該筒部材収容室632に筒部材633が収容される。筒部材633は両端が開放し、下端は前記筒部材収容室632の内面に接しないように、上端は前記燃料室611に位置するように配設され、2次圧力に調整された液体燃料Fを、燃料室611に導入するものである。
上記実施形態で説明した内容器24、隔壁部材3(本体部材31、Oリング32)及びバルブ4を使用して繰り返し耐久試験を行った。内容器24及び本体部材31はPP製成型品とし、OリングはEPDM製成型品の外表面に膜厚1μmのパリレンN被覆層を形成したものを使用した。
上記実施例1の結果と比較するために、OリングはEPDM製成型品の外表面に膜厚20μmのPTFE被覆層を形成したものを使用して、それ以外は上記実施例と同様の繰り返し耐久試験を行った。結果を図6に示す。
上記実施例1と同様の装置を使用して、経時劣化試験を行った。試験方法は上記実施例1の(1)〜(2)まで同様の動作を行い、その後、上記装置を65℃の環境下に放置し、所定時間が経過した後に(3)の動作を行った。
上記実施例2の結果と比較するために、OリングはEPDM製成型品の外表面に膜厚20μmのPTFE被覆層を形成したものを使用して、それ以外は上記実施例2と同様の経時劣化試験を行った。結果を図8に示す。
上記実施例1と同様の装置を使用して、Oリングのシール不良試験を行った。試験方法は上記実施例1の1〜2まで同様の動作を行い、その後、充填した30重量%メタノール水溶―液を、バルブ4を介して流出量6mL/60〜120minで容器内から30分間流出させた。その後、Oリングのシール不良によって気体が混入した容器の数をカウントした。
上記実施例3の結果と比較するために、OリングはEPDM製成型品の外表面に膜厚20μmのPTFE被覆層を形成したものを使用して、それ以外は上記実施例3と同様のOリングのシール不良試験を行った。
χ2=15.789
となり、この値は一般的に使用されるχ2分布表の自由度1、有意水準0.01の点すなわち
χ2(1,0.01)=6.635
より大きいので、危険率1%で、パリレンN被覆層を施したOリングとPTFE被覆層を施したOリングとでは不良品の発生の確率に違いがあるといえた。

Claims (8)
- 燃料電池または調圧装置に接続するための接続口を有し、内部に前記燃料電池に供給する液体燃料と該液体燃料を押し出すための押出手段とを収容する容器本体と、
該容器本体内部に摺動自在に配設され、該容器本体内部を、前記液体燃料を収容する燃料貯蔵室と、前記押出手段が収容される押出手段収容室とに区画する隔壁部材と、
前記接続口に設けられ、前記液体燃料の流通を開放または遮断するバルブとを備えてなる燃料電池用燃料容器であって、
前記容器本体と前記隔壁部材とが摺接する面の少なくとも一方は、前記液体燃料に対して非溶出性の被覆層が施されていることを特徴とする燃料電池用燃料容器。 - 前記容器本体内部に配設され、前記接続口と連通する円筒状の内容器をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
- 前記容器本体と前記隔壁部材とが摺接する面に生じる摺動摩擦力が10N以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
- 前記被覆層がポリパラキシレン系樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
- 前記被覆層の膜厚が0.2〜3μmであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
- 前記隔壁部材は自己潤滑ゴムからなるものであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
- 前記押出手段は圧縮ガスであって、前記押出手段収容室は前記圧縮ガスが封入される圧縮ガス室であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池用燃料容器。
