Description
Claims (3)
- 電気的外科装置の選択的に取り外し可能なシールを製造する方法であって、
前記電気的外科装置の種々の構成要素を、アクチュエータスイッチを支持するように構成された細長いハウジングセクション内に配置する工程と、
液状の熱可塑性エラストマーを充填した型内に、前記ハウジングセクションを導入し、前記液状の熱可塑性エラストマーを前記ハウジングセクションの少なくとも遠位部分内で流動させる工程と、
電極を導入するために電気外科装置の遠位端部に形成された開口の周囲を取り囲む内方に延びるエラストマーリップ部分を形成する工程と、
前記エラストマーを固化させて前記ハウジングセクションを覆ってハウジングセクション内に収容された前記種々の構成要素をシールする選択的に取り外し可能なシールを形成する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ハウジングセクションに前記アクチュエータスイッチを受け入れるように形成された開口の周囲にエラストマーアクチュエータシールを形成する工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電気外科装置のカット作動モードと凝固作動モードを識別するための2つのインサートを前記アクチュエータシール内に設ける工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
