Claims (14)
- 電気導電性アノードと電気導電性カソードの間の発光層を有する基板、前記カソードを通じて発光するように構成されたダイオード、前記ダイオードの発光波長の光を透過する前記カソードを含む有機発光ダイオード(OLED)であって前記カソードは前記発光波長の光が前記カソードを透過するのを増加するように構成される光学的干渉構造を含み、前記カソードは異なる屈折率を有する第1層と第3層の間に配置される光学干渉層を含み、前記光学干渉層は前記発光波長の1/3と1/5の間の光学厚さを有し、前記第1層は電子を前記発光層に注入する電子注入層を含み、前記第3層は電気導電層を含む有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電子注入層が30nm以下の厚さを有する請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電気導電層のシート抵抗が100オーム/□以下である請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電気導電層が50nm以下の厚さを有する請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記光学干渉層は実質的に前記発光波長の1/4の光学厚さを有する請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記発光波長は前記発光層の発光波長のピーク又は中心に実質的に等しい請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電気導電層は金属層を含む請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記金属層は金、銀またはアルミニウムを含む請求項7記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記光学干渉層は広いバンドギャップの半導体、好ましくは亜鉛セレナイド又はガリウムナイトライドを含む請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記光学干渉層は透明導電体、好ましくはインジウム錫酸化物又はインジウム亜鉛酸化物を含む請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記光学干渉層は絶縁性材料を含む請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電子注入層は金属層を含む請求項1記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 前記電子注入層はカルシウムまたはバリウムを含む請求項12記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。
- 請求項1ないし13のいずれかに記載の有機発光ダイオード(OLED)を含むディスプレイ装置。
