Claims (9)
- 外カテーテルと、前記外カテーテル内に挿入し得る内カテーテルとを備えるカテーテル組立体であって、前記外カテーテルは、内層、外層およびそれらの間に位置する補強材層の少なくとも3層を有する外カテーテル本体と、前記外カテーテル本体の先端側に設けられた柔軟性に富むソフトチップと、前記外カテーテル本体の基端に設けられた外カテーテルハブとを有し、前記内カテーテルは、硬性の基端部と、該基端部より柔軟性に富む先端部と、前記基端部の基端に設けられた内カテーテルハブとを有し、前記外カテーテルハブと内カテーテルハブとは、互いに嵌合し、前記2つのカテーテル同士が相対的に回転、移動しないよう固定することができ、前記外カテーテルハブと内カテーテルハブとが嵌合した際、前記内カテーテルの先端の少なくとも一部が前記外カテーテルの先端より突出し、かつ、前記外カテーテルの先端と内カテーテルの先端との距離が、10mm以下であることを特徴とするカテーテル組立体。
- 前記内カテーテルには、先端に柔軟性に富む第2のソフトチップが備えられている請求項1に記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記第2のソフトチップの壁厚が、前記外カテーテルのソフトチップの壁厚よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記外カテーテル本体の先端部は、所望の形状に湾曲した湾曲部を有する請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記外カテーテルハブと内カテーテルハブとが嵌合した際、前記内カテーテルにおける前記硬性の基端部と前記柔軟性に富む先端部との境界が、前記外カテーテル本体の湾曲部より基端側に位置する請求項4に記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記内カテーテルは、全体に渡って補強部材を有さない樹脂による一層構造である請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記外カテーテルは、外径に対する内径の比率が、0.89以上、0.95以下である請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記外カテーテルの壁厚は、前記内カテーテルの壁厚よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のカテーテル組立体。
- 前記外カテーテルハブと内カテーテルハブとが嵌合した際の前記外カテーテルの先端と内カテーテルの先端との距離が、0.5〜5mmであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のカテーテル組立体。
