Description
式(1)から、TE11モードの場合、π(a+b)の値がλcよりも大きくなると高次モードの伝搬が可能になる。たとえば、内導体の外径が2.5mmの場合、外導体の内径が13.08mm以上になると、第5次高調波成分は高次モード(TE11モード)での伝搬が可能になる。したがって、製造性の悪化を防止するために、あるいは発振を安定化させるために、λ/4型チョーク構造の内径を大きくすると、TE11モードの伝搬が可能になる。

Claims (7)
- 高周波を生成する高周波生成部と、前記高周波を取り出すアンテナと、このアンテナを囲む筒状金属容器と、この金属容器内にλ/4型チョーク構造のチョーク溝を形成する筒状体とを具備したマグネトロンにおいて、前記チョーク溝の長さを、前記金属容器内を基本モードで伝搬する第1の高調波成分および前記第1の高調波成分と周波数が相違し前記金属容器内を高次モードで伝搬する第2の高調波成分の両方を抑制する大きさに設定したことを特徴とするマグネトロン。
- 前記金属容器内を基本モードで伝搬する第2の高調波成分を抑制するλ/4型チョーク構造のチョーク溝を前記金属容器内に形成する第2筒状体を設けた請求項1記載のマグネトロン。
- 第1の高調波成分の周波数が、基本波の整数倍の周波数をもって隣り合う大きさの周波数をもつ2つの高調波成分の間にある請求項1記載のマグネトロン。
- 第1高調波成分の周波数が、基本波の整数倍の周波数をもって隣り合う大きさの周波数を有する2つの高調波成分の中央に位置する大きさである請求項1記載のマグネトロン。
- 高周波を生成する高周波生成部と、前記高周波を取り出すアンテナと、このアンテナを囲む筒状金属容器と、この金属容器内にλ/4型チョーク構造のチョーク溝を形成する筒状体とを具備したマグネトロンにおいて、前記チョーク溝の長さを、前記金属容器内を基本モードで伝搬する第N/2次高調波成分(N≧3)およびTE11モードで伝搬する第(N+1)/2次高調波成分(N≧3)の両方を抑制する大きさに設定したことを特徴とするマグネトロン。
