Description
(1)本発明のニトリルブタジエンゴム手袋(「ニトリルA手袋」あるいはただ単に「ニトリルA」と呼ばれる)。ASTM D3767手順Aで測定した手の平領域の厚さは約0.05mmである。この手袋は、塩素処理されていない把持面を有しており、上述したようにして、パウダーフリー凝固剤と、ステアリン酸カルシウムの形態のワックス状離型剤とを用いて製造される。
(2)キンバリー・クラーク社製のSTERLING(R)ニトリル医療検査用手袋(ニトリルブタジエンゴム手袋)(「ニトリルB手袋」あるいはただ単に「ニトリルB」と呼ばれる)。ASTM D3767手順Aで測定した手の平領域の厚さは約0.08mmである。この手袋もまた、塩素処理されていない把持面を有しており、パウダーフリー凝固剤と、ステアリン酸金属塩の形態のワックス状離型剤とを用いて製造される。
(3)キンバリー・クラーク社製のKimberly-Clark(R)Safeskin(R)PURPLE Nitrile(R)医療検査用手袋(「ニトリルC手袋」あるいはただ単に「ニトリルC」と呼ばれる)。ASTM D3767手順Aで測定した手の平領域の厚さは約0.11mmである。この手袋もまた、塩素処理されていない把持面を有しており、パウダーフリー凝固剤と、ステアリン酸金属塩の形態のワックス状離型剤とを用いて製造される。

ニトリルA:本発明によるニトリルブタジエンゴム製医療検査用手袋
ニトリルB:ジョージア州ロズウエル所在のキンバリー・クラーク社から入手可能なKimberly-Clark(R)STERLING(R)ニトリル医療検査用手袋(ニトリルブタジエンゴム手袋)(「ニトリルB手袋」またはただ単に「ニトリルB」と呼ばれる)。
(1)米国オハイオ州ダブリン所在のカーディナル・ヘルス社から入手可能なCardinal Esteem(R)伸縮性ニトリルパウダーフリー医療検査用手袋。手の平部分の厚さの平均値:0.13mm、ピンホール不良率:0.5%、200個の手袋を試験した。
(2)米国イリノイ州マンデライン所在のマンデライン・インダストリーズ社から入手可能なMedline Sensicare(R)シルクニトリルパウダーフリー医療検査用手袋。手の平部分の厚さの平均値:0.08mm、ピンホール不良率:3.8%、600個の手袋を試験した。
(3)米国ネバタ州リノ所在のマイクロフレックス社(Microflex Corporation)から入手可能なMicroflex UltraSense(R)ニトリルパウダーフリー医療検査用手袋。手の平部分の厚さの平均値:0.09mm、ピンホール不良率:0.3%、300個の手袋を試験した。
(4)米国フロリダ州クリアウォーター所在のセンパーメドUSA社(Sempermed USA, Inc.)から入手可能なSempermed Sempercare(R)Tender Touchニトリルパウダーフリー医療検査用手袋。手の平部分の厚さの平均値:0.09mm、ピンホール不良率:2.3%、1292個の手袋を試験した。
(5)米国フロリダ州マイアミ所在のメドグラブ社(Medgluv, Inc.)から入手可能なMedgluv Neutron Greyニトリルパウダーフリー医療検査用手袋。手の平部分の厚さの平均値:0.07mm、ピンホール不良率:2.45%、489個の手袋を試験した。
Claims (19)
- エラストマー性手袋の製造方法であって、
手袋の型の表面を、カルシウムイオン濃度が3重量%ないし5重量%の凝固剤溶液及び離型剤でコーティングするステップと、
前記凝固剤溶液及び離型剤でコーティングされた前記型を部分的に乾燥させるステップと、
前記部分的に乾燥させた型を、12重量%ないし20重量%のラテックス固形分を有するニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス・エマルジョン中に7秒間ないし15秒間のドウェル時間浸漬して、前記型の表面上に凝固ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス層を形成するステップと、
前記ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス・エマルジョン中から前記型を取り出すステップと、
前記凝固ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス層を有する前記型を水槽に浸漬してカルシウムイオンを除去した後、前記凝固ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス層を乾燥させて前記型の表面上に手袋本体部を形成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記手袋本体部を有する前記型を塩素槽に浸漬して、前記型の表面上に形成された前記手袋本体部の外面を塩素処理するステップと、
前記手袋本体部の前記塩素処理された外面が前記手袋の内面になるように、前記手袋本体部を前記型から反転離型させるステップとをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の方法であって、
前記型の表面及び前記ラテックス固形分における凝集イオンの比率が、1:4であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
前記部分的に乾燥させた型を、14重量%ないし20重量%のラテックス固形分を有するニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス・エマルジョンに浸漬するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
前記型の表面上に凝固ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックスの層を形成すべく、前記部分的に乾燥させた型をニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス・エマルジョンに8秒間ないし12秒間のドウェル時間で浸漬するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
前記部分的に乾燥させた型をニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックス・エマルジョンに浸漬するステップを含み、
前記エラストマー性ニトリルブタジエンゴムが、アクリロニトリル、ブタジエン及びカルボン酸のターポリマーであり、前記アクリロニトリルポリマーの含有量が15重量%ないし42重量%であり、前記カルボン酸の含有量が1重量%ないし10重量%であり、前記ターポリマー組成物の残りの成分がブタジエンであることを特徴とする方法。 - エラストマー性手袋であって、
ニトリルブタジエンゴムラテックスから形成されたエラストマー性ニトリルブタジエンゴムの柔軟性層を含み、かつ手袋の着用面をなす塩素処理された第1の面及び手袋の把持面をなす塩素処理されていない第2の面を有する手袋本体部と、
前記塩素処理されていない第2の面上に均一に分布している離型剤とを含んでおり、
(a)前記手袋本体部の手の平領域の平均厚さが0.03mmないし0.12mmであり、
(b)前記手袋本体部の前記塩素処理されていない第2の面の表面二乗平均平方根粗さ(Sq)が3.00μmないし6.55μmであり、かつ
(c)ASTM D5151−06に従ってピンホール試験を行った際に1%未満の不良率を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D412−06に従って試験を行った際に、前記手袋本体部は、元の寸法の300%の長さに伸長させたときに(F−300)、1.50N以下の応力−ひずみ応答を示すことを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D412−06に従って試験を行った際に、前記手袋本体部は、0.03mmないし0.10mmの厚さの部分を元の寸法の300%の長さに伸長させたときに(F−300)、1.08Nないし1.45Nの応力−ひずみ応答を示すことを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D412−06に従って試験を行った際に、前記手袋本体部は、元の寸法の400%の長さに伸長させたとき(F−400)に、2N未満の応力−ひずみ応答を示すことを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D412−06に従って試験を行った際に、前記手袋本体部は、元の寸法の560%ないし600%の長さに伸長させたときに、6.0N未満の破断力を示すことを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記手袋本体部が、150/cmないし250/cmの表面積/体積比を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記手袋本体部の前記塩素処理されていない第2の面が、3.00μmないし5.30μmの表面二乗平均平方根粗さ(Sq)を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記手袋本体部の前記塩素処理されていない第2の面が、3.00μm未満の表面平均粗さ(Sa)を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記手袋本体部の前記塩素処理されていない第2の面が、光学画像分析で測定して、800孔/mm2以上の孔密度を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7〜15のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記離型剤が、ステアリン酸金属塩、200℃未満の溶融点を有する石油系ワックス、天然動物ワックス、または合成ワックスから選択されることを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7〜16のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D5151−06に従ってピンホール試験を行った際に、0.5%未満の不良率を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7〜16のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
ASTM D5151−06に従ってピンホール試験を行った際に、0.1%未満の不良率を有することを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。 - 請求項7〜18のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー性手袋であって、
前記エラストマー性ニトリルブタジエンゴムが、アクリロニトリル、ブタジエン及びカルボン酸のターポリマーであり、
前記アクリロニトリルポリマーの含有量が15重量%ないし42重量%であり、
前記カルボン酸成分の含有量が1重量%ないし10重量%であり、
前記ターポリマー組成物の残りの成分がブタジエンであることを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。
