Claims (7)
- 映像表示装置の表示面に配置される光拡散部材において、
第1方向に所定間隔で配列され、かつ該第1方向の断面形状が略台形状部を有する複数の光透過部と、
前記複数の光透過部の相互間に配置され、前記第1方向の断面形状が略楔形状を有する光吸収部と、を備え、
前記光透過部の略台形状部の上辺と、前記光吸収部の略楔形状の底辺が互いに隣接しており、
前記第1方向の断面において、前記光吸収部の略楔形状の断面積を、前記略楔形状の断面形状に外接する外接台形の面積に対し、1/3以上、かつ2/3以下とする、光拡散部材。 - 前記光透過部及び前記光吸収部は、前記第1方向と直交する方向に伸びて形成される、請求項1記載の光拡散部材。
- 前記第1方向が前記表示面の垂直方向であり、前記第2方向が前記表示面の水平方向である、請求項2記載の光拡散部材。
- 前記光吸収部の略楔形状の底辺の長さが前記光透過部の台形状部の上辺の長さよりも大きい、請求項1記載の光拡散部材。
- 前記光吸収部の略楔形状の底辺の長さをB、前記光透過部の台形状部の上辺の長さをWとしたとき、W/(W+B)で定められる開口率を、10%以上かつ40%以下とする、請求項4記載の光拡散部材。
- 表示パネルと、
該表示パネルの表示面に配置される光拡散部材と、を備え、
前記光拡散部材は、
第1方向に所定間隔で配列され、かつ該第1方向の断面形状が略台形状部を有する複数の光透過部と、
前記複数の光透過部の相互間に配置され、前記第1方向の断面形状が略楔形状を有する光吸収部と、を含み、
前記光透過部の略台形状部の上辺と、前記光吸収部の略楔形状の底辺が互いに隣接しており、
前記第1方向の断面において、前記光吸収部の略楔形状の断面積を、前記略楔形状の断面形状に外接する外接台形の面積に対し、1/3以上、かつ2/3以下とする、映像表示装置。 - 前記光透過部の略台形状の上底の長さをW、前記光吸収部の略楔形状の底部の長さBとしたとき、W1/(W1+B1)で定められる開口率を、10%以上、かつ40%以下とする、請求項6記載の映像表示装置。
