Description
Claims (3)
- 照射光によって光学特性が変化し、かつ照射光パワーが低減した際には光照射前の光学特性に戻る材料を有する光情報記録媒体に光を照射して前記光情報記録媒体から情報を再生する光情報再生方法であって、
フォーカシングサーボ機能を実行して、前記光情報記録媒体の記録面に、光スポットを追従させる工程と、
前記照射光パワーの大きさと、クロストラック信号のエンベロップの上レベルと下レベルを再生レーザパワーで除した値との関係において、前記上レベルの微分係数が0から負に変化する値をP2,前記下レベルの微分係数の変曲点をP3としたとき、前記P2の再生パワーでトラッキングサーボを行い、続いて、前記P2から前記P3の間で再生パワーを変化させて、最適再生パワーを決定することを特徴とする光情報再生方法。 - 前記上レベルの微分係数及び前記下レベルの微分係数は、2次微分係数であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光情報再生方法。
- 照射光によって光学特性が変化し、かつ照射光パワーが低減した際には光照射前の光学特性に戻る材料を含む光情報記録媒体に光を照射して、前記照射光の反射光を処理する光学系と、前記光学系を介して前記反射光からフォーカスサーボ信号を検出するフォーカスサーボ信号検出器と、前記光学系を介して前記反射光からトラッキングサーボ信号を検出するトラッキングサーボ信号検出器と、前記フォーカスサーボ信号検出器と前記トラッキングサーボ信号検出器のそれぞれからの検出信号を処理する信号処理・制御システムと、を有し、前記光情報記録媒体から情報を再生する光情報再生装置であって、
前記信号処理・制御システムが、
前記フォーカスサーボ信号検出器の出力信号に基づいて、前記光情報記録媒体の記録面に、光スポットを追従させる追従手段と、
前記照射光パワーの大きさと、クロストラック信号のエンベロップの上レベルと下レベルを再生レーザパワーで除した値との関係において、前記上レベルの微分係数が0から負に変化する値をP2,前記下レベルの微分係数の変曲点をP3としたとき、前記P2の再生パワーでトラッキングサーボを行い、続いて、前記P2から前記P3の間で再生パワーを変化させる光パワー調整手段と、
前記P2から前記P3の間の最適な光パワーの範囲を決定する決定手段と
を有することすることを特徴とする光情報再生装置。
