図1を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムについて説明する。本実施形態に係る移動通信システムは、LTE-Advanced方式の移動通信システムである。
図2を参照して、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る移動通信システムについて説明する。以下、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムについて、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムとの相違点に着目して説明する。
図3を参照して、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る移動通信システムについて説明する。以下、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムについて、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムとの相違点に着目して説明する。

Claims (5)
- 移動局が、無線基地局との間で、第1周波数帯域の第1キャリア及び該第1周波数帯域よりも高い周波数帯域である第2周波数帯域の第2キャリアを同時に用いて、CA(Carrier Aggregation)を行うことができるように構成されている移動通信システムであって、
前記無線基地局は、前記第1キャリアが用いられる第1セル及び前記第2キャリアが用いられる第2セルを管理するように構成されており、
前記第1セルのカバレッジエリアと前記第2セルのカバレッジエリアとが地理的に重畳するように構成されており、
前記第1セルのカバレッジエリアは、前記第2セルのカバレッジエリアよりも広くなるように構成されており、
前記第1キャリアは、カバレッジを提供し、前記第2キャリアは、カバレッジを提供しないように構成されていることを特徴とする移動通信システム。 - カバレッジエリアが重畳している前記第1セル及び前記第2セルにおいて、同期信号のスクランブリング処理に同一のセル識別情報が用いられるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信システム。
- カバレッジエリアが重畳している前記第1セル及び前記第2セルにおいて、同期信号のスクランブリング処理に異なるセル識別情報が用いられるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信システム。
- 前記無線基地局は、前記第1セルにおける通信用の第1アンテナと、前記第2セルにおける通信用の第2アンテナとを具備し、
前記第1アンテナのメインローブの方向と前記第2アンテナのメインローブの方向とが異なるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信システム。 - 前記第1セルのカバレッジエリア内に、複数の前記第2セルが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動通信システム。
