Claims (41)
- 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の案内面と、細長いスロットとを備えた本体を有しており、前記スロットは、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とを貫通して延び且つ前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とに沿って開口しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっている、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間に配置されている延展器であって、中央本体と、該中央本体から延びる一対の互いに反対に向いた羽根部とを含んでおり、前記羽根部はそれぞれ、前記一対の案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、延展器と、
前記延展器に連結されている駆動部材であって、前記延展器と該延展器の前方に配置された前記移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記一対の案内部材を前記ハウジングに連結するための連結部(26)と、前記連結部から近位方向に延びる駆動部材係合部(24)とを含んでおり、前記駆動部材係合部と前記連結部は、これらを貫通して延び前記駆動部材を受け入れるための通路(38)を含んでおり、
前記駆動部材(40)は、前記駆動部材係合部内の前記通路(38)に螺合するシャフト(42)と、前記シャフトの近位端に設けられたハンドル(46)とを含んでおり、
前記駆動部材(40)はその中を通って延びる通路を有し、前記伸延器はその中を通って延びる孔を有し、
前記器具は移植片保持器を更に含んでおり、該移植片保持器は前記駆動部材の前記通路と前記延展器の前記孔とを通って延び、それにより前記移植片保持器の遠位端が前記移植片と係合し、
前記移植片保持器は、該移植片保持器の近位端に、前記移植片保持器を回転させて該移植片保持器を移植片に係合させる調節ノブを含んでおり、前記移植片保持器の遠位端は前記延展器より遠位方向に延びる、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記駆動部材の前記ハンドルは、近位方向に開口する陥凹部を含んでおり、前記移植片保持器の前記調節ノブは前記陥凹部の中に回転可能に収容されている、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記一対の案内部材は、それぞれ、その前記遠位端近くに当接部材を含んでおり、前記当接部材は、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面から突出している、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記当接部材は、それぞれ、前記案内部材それぞれの中心軸に対して直交方向に向いている、請求項3に記載の器具。
- 前記案内面は平面状である、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の案内面と、細長いスロットとを備えた本体を有しており、前記スロットは、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とを貫通して延び且つ前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とに沿って開口しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっている、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間に配置されている延展器であって、中央本体と、該中央本体から延びる一対の互いに反対に向いた羽根部とを含んでおり、前記羽根部はそれぞれ、前記一対の案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、延展器と、
前記延展器に連結されている駆動部材であって、前記延展器と該延展器の前方に配置された前記移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、
前記一対の案内部材は、それぞれ、その前記遠位端近くに当接部材を含んでおり、前記当接部材は、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面から突出しており、
前記当接部材は、それぞれ、前記案内部材それぞれの中心軸に対して直交方向に向いており、
前記スロットは、それぞれ、前記それぞれの案内部材の前記当接部材を通って延びている、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記案内部材は、それぞれ、該案内部材の前記当接部材から遠位方向に延びる支持部材を含んでおり、前記支持部材は、前記当接部材が隣接する骨部分の対応する方とそれぞれ接触した状態で、前記隣接する骨部分の間の空間に配置することができ、前記支持部材は、前記延展器および前記移植片を前記案内部材の前記遠位端に向けて前進させると、前記骨部分と接触して前記隣接する骨部分を伸延することができる、請求項6に記載の器具。
- 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の案内面と、細長いスロットとを備えた本体を有しており、前記スロットは、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とを貫通して延び且つ前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とに沿って開口しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっている、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間に配置されている延展器であって、中央本体と、該中央本体から延びる一対の互いに反対に向いた羽根部とを含んでおり、前記羽根部はそれぞれ、前記一対の案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、延展器と、
前記延展器に連結されている駆動部材であって、前記延展器と該延展器の前方に配置された前記移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、
前記延展器の遠位端壁に沿って解除可能に係合可能なアダプタを更に備えている、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記アダプタは、本体部分と、前記本体部分の両端部から近位方向に延びる一対のアームとを含んでおり、前記一対のアームを前記延展器の側壁に沿って配置して前記アダプタを前記延展器に係合させることができる、請求項8に記載の器具。
- 前記アームは、それぞれ、その遠位端に突起を含んでおり、前記突起は、互いに向けて延び、前記延展器の前記側壁の隣接する窪みの中に取り外し可能に配置することができる、請求項9に記載の器具。
- 前記延展器は、前記遠位端壁に、近位方向に延びる中央レセプタクルを含んでおり、前記アダプタの本体部は、前記レセプタクルに受け入れられる、中央の近位方向にオフセットした部分を含んでいる、請求項9に記載の器具。
- 前記延展器は、中を通って延びる孔を含んでおり、
前記アダプタは、前記中央オフセット部分に、前記延展器の前記孔と整列する孔を有しており、
前記移植片保持器の遠位端は、前記延展器の前記孔と前記中央オフセット部の前記孔とを通って延び、前記アダプタの前方の前記移植片に係合する、請求項11に記載の器具。 - 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の案内面と、細長いスロットとを備えた本体を有しており、前記スロットは、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とを貫通して延び且つ前記外側面と前記反対側の案内面とに沿って開口しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっている、一対の案内部材と、

前記延展器に連結されている駆動部材であって、前記延展器と該延展器の前方に配置された前記移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、
前記ハウジングは連結部を備え、該連結部は、それぞれ近位方向に開口するレセプタクルを画定する一対の上側フィンガ部と、それぞれ近位方向に開口するレセプタクルを画定する一対の下側フィンガ部と、を含んでいる、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記案内部材のそれぞれは、前記上側の一対のフィンガ部及び下側の一対のフィンガ部のうちの対応する一対のフィンガ部の間に配置されるようになっている近位端を含んでおり、
前記案内部材は、それぞれ、前記対応する一対のフィンガ部によって画定された前記レセプタクルの中に、回転可能且つ取り外し可能に収容される横棒を更に含んでいる、請求項13に記載の器具。 - 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の案内面と、細長いスロットとを備えた本体を有しており、前記スロットは、各案内部材の前記外側面と前記案内面とを貫通して延び且つ前記外側面と前記案内面とに沿って開口しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっている、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間に配置されている延展器であって、中央本体と、該中央本体から延びる一対の互いに反対に向いた羽根部とを含んでおり、前記羽根部はそれぞれ、前記一対の案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、延展器と、
前記延展器に連結されている駆動部材であって、前記延展器と該延展器の前方に配置された前記移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、
前記羽根部は、それぞれ、前記中央本体から延びる本体と大きくなっている外側端とを含んでおり、前記大きくなっている外側端は、前記羽根部が受け入れられている前記案内部材の前記スロット内に前記羽根部を捕捉する寸法に作られている、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記スロットは、それぞれ、前記羽根部の前記大きくなっている外側端を通過させることができるように作られた大きくなっている近位端開口を含んでいる、請求項15に記載の器具。
- 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と該外側面と反対側の案内面とを備えた本体を有しており、前記移植片を両案内面の間に配置することができるようになっており、前記案内面は互いに向き合っており、前記案内部材のそれぞれは、前記案内部材の前記案内面と前記外側面とを貫通して延び且つ前記案内面と前記外側面とに沿って開口するスロットを有している、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間に配置されている延展器と、
前記延展器に解除可能に連結されているアダプタであって、該アダプタの本体部分が前記延展器の遠位端壁に沿って配置されている、アダプタと、
前記延展器に連結されており、前記延展器と前記アダプタとを、前記アダプタの前方に前記移植片が配置された状態で、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な駆動部材と、
を備え、前記アダプタが前記移植片を前記延展器の前記遠位端壁から前方に間隔を空けて配置している、器具。 - 前記案内部材のそれぞれの前記スロットは、前記各案内部材の中心軸に沿って延びている、請求項17に記載の器具。
- 前記延展器は、中央本体と、前記中央本体から延びる一対の互いに反対に向いた羽根部とを含んでおり、前記羽根部はそれぞれ、前記一対の案内部材のうちの対応する一方の前記スロットの中に滑動可能に受け入れられる、請求項18に記載の器具。
- 前記アダプタは、前記本体部分の両端部から近位方向に延びる一対のアームを含んでおり、前記一対のアームを前記延展器の側壁に沿って配置して前記アダプタを前記延展器に係合させることができる、請求項17に記載の器具。
- 前記アームは、それぞれ、その遠位端に突起を含んでおり、前記突起は、互いに向かって延びており、前記延展器の前記側壁の隣接する窪みの中に取り外し可能に配置することができる、請求項20に記載の器具。
- 前記延展器は、前記遠位端壁に、近位方向に延びる中央レセプタクルを含んでおり、
前記アダプタの本体部は、前記レセプタクルに受け入れられる、中央の近位方向にオフセットした部分を含んでいる、請求項17に記載の器具。 - 前記延展器は、中を通って延びる孔を含んでおり、前記アダプタは、前記レセプタクル内に前記延展器の前記孔と整列する孔を有している、請求項22に記載の器具。
- 前記延展器の前記孔と前記アダプタの前記孔とを通って延び、前記アダプタの前方の前記移植片と係合する移植片保持器を更に含んでいる、請求項23に記載の器具。
- 前記移植片保持器は、前記駆動部材を通って伸張する通路の中を通っている細長いシャフトを含んでいる、請求項24に記載の器具。
- 前記案内部材の少なくとも一方は、前記ハウジングに枢動可能に連結されており、
前記案内部材の少なくとも一方を前記案内部材の他方から回転させて離すと、前記アダプタを前記延展器に係合させることができるようになる、請求項17に記載の器具。 - 移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具において、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングから遠位方向に延びる一対の相対する案内部材であって、前記一対の案内部材のそれぞれは、外側面と、これと反対側の内側面とを備えた細長い本体を有しており、該内側面は、もう一方の案内部材の内側面と、移植片を間に配置可能な状態で向き合うように構成されており、前記案内部材がさらに、前記案内部材それぞれの前記内側面及び前記外側面を貫通して延び且つ前記内側面及び外側面に沿って開口する、遠位方向に延びる細長いスロットを備える、一対の案内部材と、
前記一対の案内部材の間にある中央本体であって、前記中央本体は、該中央本体から延びる互いに反対に向いた羽根部を含んでおり、前記羽根部は、前記案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、中央本体と、
前記中央本体から延びる駆動部材であって、前記中央本体と前記案内部材の間に配置された移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前方に進ませるように作動可能な、駆動部材と、
を備えている器具。 - 前記ハウジングは、連結部と、前記連結部から近位方向に延びる駆動部材係合部とを含んでおり、前記駆動部材係合部と前記連結部は、これらを貫通して延び前記駆動部材を受け入れるための通路を含んでいる、請求項27に記載の器具。
- 前記駆動部材は、前記ハウジングの通路に螺合するシャフトと、前記シャフトの近位端に設けられたハンドルとを含んでいる、請求項27に記載の器具。
- 前記駆動部材と前記中央本体とを通って延びる移植片保持器を更に含んでおり、前記移植片保持器は、その近位端に前記移植片保持器を回転させて該移植片保持器を移植片に係合させる調節ノブを含んでおり、遠位端は移植片と係合するように前記中央本体より遠位方向に延びる、請求項29に記載の器具。
- 前記一対の案内部材は、それぞれ、その前記遠位端近くに当接部材を含んでおり、前記当接部材は、前記案内部材それぞれの前記外側面から突出している、請求項27に記載の器具。
- 前記当接部材は、それぞれ、前記案内部材それぞれの中心軸に対して直交方向に向いている、請求項31に記載の器具。
- 前記スロットは、前記案内部材それぞれの前記当接部材を通って延びている、請求項31に記載の器具。
- 前記案内部材は、それぞれ、該案内部材の前記当接部材から遠位方向に延びる支持部材を含んでおり、前記支持部材は、前記当接部材が隣接する骨部分の対応する方とそれぞれ接触した状態で、前記隣接する骨部分の間の空間に配置することができる、請求項31に記載の器具。
- 前記ハウジングは連結部を備え、該連結部は、それぞれ近位方向に開口するレセプタクルを画定する一対の上側フィンガ部と、それぞれ近位方向に開口するレセプタクルを画定する一対の下側フィンガ部と、を含んでおり、
前記案内部材のそれぞれは、前記上側の一対のフィンガ部及び下側の一対のフィンガ部のうちの対応する一対のフィンガ部の間に配置されるようになっている近位端を含んでおり、
前記案内部材は、それぞれ、前記対応する一対のフィンガ部によって画定された前記レセプタクルの中に、回転可能且つ取り外し可能に収容される横棒を更に含んでいる、請求項27に記載の器具。 - 前記羽根部は、それぞれ、前記中央本体から延びる本体と大きくなっている外側端とを含んでおり、
前記大きくなっている外側端は、前記羽根部が受け入れられる前記案内部材の前記スロット内に前記羽根部を捕捉する寸法に作られている、請求項27に記載の器具。 - 前記スロットは、それぞれ、前記羽根部の前記大きくなっている外側端を通過させることができるように作られた大きくなっている近位端開口を含んでいる、請求項36に記載の器具。
- 前記内側面は平面状である、請求項27に記載の器具。

前記一対の案内部材の間にある中央本体であって、前記中央本体は、該中央本体から延びる互いに反対に向いた羽根部を含んでおり、前記羽根部は、前記案内部材の内の対応する一方の前記スロットに滑動可能に受け入れられる、中央本体と、
前記ハウジングを通して前記中央本体から近位方向に延びる駆動部材であって、前記中央本体と前記案内部材の間に配置された移植片とを、前記案内部材の遠位端に向けて前進させるように作動可能な、駆動部材と、
を備えている、移植片を隣接する骨部分の間の空間に挿入するための器具。 - 前記スロットのそれぞれは、前記当接部材と前記案内部材の前記遠位端との間の遠位端を含み、前記案内部材に沿って前記スロットが延びている、請求項40に記載の器具。
