Description
まず、表面に毒性塗料が塗布された3枚の鋼板(以下、毒性鋼板Xという。)と、毒性塗料の塗布されていない2枚の鋼板(以下、無毒性鋼板Yという。)とをそれぞれ用意した。各鋼板の大きさは、0.3m×0.365mであった。また、毒性塗料として、中国塗料株式会社製「シーグランプリ 500」を用いた。
5枚の鋼板の表面に毒性塗料を塗布した以外は、実施例1と同様とした。
実施例1及び比較例1の結果を図5に示す。海水温度は、6月19日に21℃、6月29日に22℃、7月4日に23℃、7月10日に22℃、7月16日に23℃、7月24日に24℃、7月31日に24℃、8月7日に26℃、8月10日に26℃、8月21日に28℃、8月28日に26.5℃、9月4日に25℃、9月10日に25℃、9月19日に24℃、9月24日に24℃、10月2日に22℃であった。
Claims (5)
- 海上に係留された船舶の船体の汚濁を防止するための船体の防汚方法であって、
前記船体の喫水領域内に、付着動物が忌避する毒性を有する防汚塗料が塗布された毒性領域と、前記毒性領域で忌避された付着動物の付着を誘引する領域であって当該毒性領域よりも毒性が低い低毒性領域とを、外部に露出するように設ける防汚工程を備えることを特徴とする船体の防汚方法。 - 前記防汚工程では、前記毒性領域よりも低い毒性を有する低毒性部材を前記船体に取り付けることで、前記低毒性領域を設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された船体の防汚方法。
- 前記低毒性部材の周辺部には、前記低毒性領域よりも毒性の高い防汚塗料が塗布されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載された船体の防汚方法。
- 前記低毒性部材にはマグネットが設けられており、
前記防汚工程では、前記マグネットによって前記低毒性部材を前記船体に取り付けることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載された船体の防汚方法。 - 前記防汚工程では、付着動物が忌避する毒性を有する防汚塗料を塗布しない領域を設けることにより、前記低毒性領域とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された船体の防汚方法。
