Description
まず、本発明の第1の実施形態について説明する。
以下、本発明の第2の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。
前記した第1の実施形態では、反応室36を含む生化学反応部20に対して、第2の実施形態では、反応室63を含むカセット75に対して、それぞれ流体制御装置によって流体を制御する例を説明した。この流体制御装置は、反応室36,64と別部材に構成されなければならない必要性はない。少なくとも一部がプローブ固定部により構成されている反応室を含む生化学反応部に流体制御装置が一体的に組み込まれた生化学反応ユニットも、本発明の生化学反応装置に含まれる。第3の実施形態では、このような生化学反応ユニットの例を示している。

Claims (12)
- 少なくとも一部が、複数のプローブ生体高分子が固定されたプローブ固定部から構成され、且つ四隅を有している反応室と、少なくとも前記四隅の隅部近傍にそれぞれ配置された開口を介して前記反応室に連通する4個以上のポートとを有する生化学反応部に対する流体移動方法であって、
下流の2つの前記開口につながる前記ポートから吸引しつつ、上流の前記開口から前記反応室内に流体を充填する動作と、
前記ポートのうちのいずれかの動作を切り替えて、前記充填する動作と異なる方向の流体の往復移動を生じさせて、流体を撹拌する動作と、
を含む流体移動方法。 - 流体が前記4個以上のポートのうちのいずれかから前記反応室へ流入して該反応室から前記4個以上のポートのうちの他のいずれかに流出するような流体の連続した流れを形成する、請求項1に記載の流体移動方法。
- 前記流体の連続した流れによって該流体を攪拌する、請求項2に記載の流体移動方法。
- 前記反応室内で流体が少なくとも2つ以上の方向に向かう流れを形成する、請求項2または3に記載の流体移動方法。
- 前記切り替え制御はバルブ手段によって行う、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の流体移動方法。
- 前記流体として、前記プローブ生体高分子に結合し得る生体高分子を含んだハイブリダイゼーション溶液、または前記プローブ固定部を洗浄する洗浄液、または気体を用いる、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の流体移動方法。
- 前記反応室内に前記ハイブリダイゼーション溶液を導入して生化学反応を生じさせる工程と、前記反応室内に前記洗浄液を導入して前記プローブ固定部を洗浄する工程と、前記反応室内に前記気体を導入して前記反応室内の液体を排出する工程とを含み、
前記各工程において、請求項6に記載の流体移動方法をそれぞれ行う、生体高分子の処理方法。 - 少なくとも一部が、複数のプローブ生体高分子が固定されたプローブ固定部から構成され、且つ四隅を有している反応室と、少なくとも前記四隅の隅部近傍にそれぞれ配置された開口を介して前記反応室に連通する4個以上のポートとを有する生化学反応部に付属する流体移動装置において、
前記4個以上のポートのそれぞれに対して、前記反応室への流体の流入と、前記反応室からの流体の流出とを切り替え制御できる切り替え制御手段を有し、
下流の2つの前記開口につながる前記ポートから吸引しつつ、上流の前記開口から前記反応室内に流体を充填する動作と、前記ポートのうちのいずれかの動作を切り替えて、前記充填する動作と異なる方向の流体の往復移動を生じさせて、流体を撹拌する動作と、を行うことを特徴とする流体移動装置。 - 前記切り替え制御手段はバルブ手段を含む、請求項8に記載の流体移動装置。
- 少なくとも一部が、複数のプローブ生体高分子が固定されたプローブ固定部から構成され、且つ四隅を有している反応室と、少なくとも前記四隅の隅部近傍にそれぞれ配置された開口を介して前記反応室との間で流体の流入および流出が可能に連通している4個以上のポートとを有する生化学反応部と、
請求項8または9に記載の流体移動装置と
を含む生化学反応装置。 - 前記生化学反応部は前記流体移動装置に着脱可能なカセットである、請求項10に記載の生化学反応装置。
- 前記流体移動装置は前記生化学反応部に一体的に組み込まれている、請求項10に記載の生化学反応装置。
