Description
US-6 289 247 B1は,蝸牛殻の人工補綴における信号の処理のための方法を開示している。この補綴は,マイクロホンと,音声プロセッサと,出力トランデューサとを有している。上記方法は,入力信号をN個の周波数チャネルに分割することによって音環境の評価を取得し,N個の周波数チャネルからの出力を整流し,チャネルに分割され整流された入力信号を,パルス・テンプレート・テーブルにストアされた計数と比較するステップを含む。特定の周波数帯域における整流された信号は,次に,音環境の評価に従う音声の明瞭さの評価を決定する目的で,上記の比較に基づき処理され,かつ最適化される。音声の明瞭さの評価は一群の記憶された音声処理ストラテジーからその一つを選択するために使用される。
しかしながら,US-6 289 247 B1に開示された方法は,人間の蝸牛殻に埋込むことが可能な一群の電極によって再生するための音声の処理に合わせるものであり,選択可能な音声処理ストラテジーは従来の音響補聴器の出力トランスデューサによる再生に使用することはできない。上記の方法はさらに,一群の固定パラメータに基づくものであり,柔軟性がない。したがって,従来の補聴器において音声の明瞭さを高める適合方法が望まれている。
Claims (26)
- マイクロホン(1),伝達関数を有するプロセッサ(2,3,4,5,10,11)および出力トランスデューサ(12)を備えた補聴器(22)における信号を処理する方法であって,
前記補聴器(22)が,
前記マイクロホン(1)によってピックアップされる入力信号を複数の個々の周波数帯域に分割し,
前記伝達関数を複数の個々の周波数帯域の利得値を表す利得ベクトルとして決定し,
個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて,前記入力信号中の音声レベルおよび雑音レベルを評価し,
評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルと前記利得値とに基づいて,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)を計算し,
個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの利得値に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算または減算し,かつ変更後の利得値を用いて計算される音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)が,以前の音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)から許容値ε以上異なる周波数帯域が存在する場合に,上記利得値増分(ΔG)を小さくして,小さくされた利得値増分(ΔG)を再び加算または減算するように,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの利得レベルを上下に繰返し変更することによって,前記音声の明瞭さの評価を高める,方法。 - 前記利得レベルを繰返し変更するステップが,前記音声の明瞭さの評価を高めるための利得値を,前記周波数帯域の第1部分に対してそれぞれ決定し,かつ前記周波数帯域の第1部分に関する利得値間の補間を通じて,前記周波数帯域の第2部分に対する利得値をそれぞれ決定することによって,前記利得ベクトルを決定するものである,請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,前記補聴器(22)に接続された外部フィッティング・システムに送信する,請求項1に記載の方法。
- 評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルに基づいて,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの非増幅音の音量L0を計算し,
前記補聴器(22)の個々の周波数帯域の調整された利得値に対応する音量Lと,計算された前記非増幅音の音量L0を比較し,
音量Lが音量L0よりも大きい場合には,初期利得値(g0)から利得値増分(ΔG)を減算し,音量L0が音量Lよりも大きい場合には,初期利得値(g0)に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算する,請求項1に記載の方法。 - 上記利得値増分(ΔG)にスカラー係数を乗算することによって,前記利得ベクトルを調整する,請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記利得ベクトルの各利得値を調整する,請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,発音の明瞭度指数(AI)として決定する,請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,変調伝達指数(MTF)として決定する,請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,音声伝達指数(STI)として決定する,請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記音声レベルおよび雑音レベルを,それぞれパーセンタイルの値として決定する,請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記入力信号をリアルタイムで処理するとともに,前記利得ベクトルを断続的に更新する,請求項1から10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記入力信号をリアルタイムで処理するとともに,前記利得ベクトルをユーザの要求に応じて更新する,請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を音声の明瞭さの指数(SII)として決定し,
前記音声の明瞭さ指数(SII)を,前記音声レベルの値,前記雑音レベルの値および聴力損失ベクトルの関数として決定するステップを含む,請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 入力トランスデューサ(1),プロセッサ(2,3,4,5,10,11),および音響出力トランスデューサ(12)を有し,前記プロセッサが,前記入力トランスデューサ(1)によってピックアップされる入力信号を複数の個々の周波数帯域に分割するフィルタ・ブロック(3),前記個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて,前記入力信号中の音声レベルおよび雑音レベルを評価する音声および雑音エスティメータ(4),前記個々の周波数帯域の利得値を算出する利得コントローラ(5),ならびに音声の明瞭さを高める手段を備え,
前記音声の明瞭さを高める手段が,
評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルと,前記利得値とに基づいて,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)を計算し,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの利得値に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算または減算し,かつ変更後の利得値を用いて計算される音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)が,以前の音声の明瞭さの評価から許容値ε以上異なる周波数帯域が存在する場合に,上記利得値増分(ΔG)を小さくして,小さくされた利得値増分(ΔG)を再び加算または減算するように,個々の周波数帯域の利得レベルを上下に繰返し変更することによって前記音声の明瞭さの評価を高める音声増大ユニット(8)を備えている,
補聴器(22)。 - 評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルに基づいて非増幅音の音量L0を計算するラウドネス・モデル手段(7)を備え,
前記音声増大ユニット(8)は,前記補聴器(22)の個々の周波数帯域の調整された利得レベルに対応する音量Lと計算された前記非増幅音の音量L0を比較して,音量Lが音量L0よりも大きい場合には,初期利得値(g0)から利得値増分(ΔG)を減算し,音量L0が音量Lよりも大きい場合には,初期利得値(g0)に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算する,請求項14に記載の補聴器(22)。 - マイクロホン(1),伝達関数を有するプロセッサ(2,3,4,5,10,11)および出力トランスデューサ(12)を備えた補聴器(22)を音環境にフィッティングする方法であって,
前記マイクロホン(1)によってピックアップされる入力信号を,複数の個々の周波数帯域に分割し,
一般的なフィッティング規則に従って,複数の個々の周波数帯域の利得レベルを表わす利得ベクトルとして初期補聴器伝達関数についての設定を選択し,
別個の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて,前記入力信号中の音声レベルと雑音レベルを評価し,
評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルと上記利得値とに基づいて,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれにおいて音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)を計算し,
個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの利得値に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算または減算し,かつ変更後の利得値を用いて計算される音声の明瞭さの評価(SI)が,以前の音声の明瞭さの評価から許容値ε以上異なる周波数帯域が存在する場合に,上記利得値増分(ΔG)を小さくして,小さくされた利得値増分(ΔG)を再び加算または減算するように,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの利得レベルを上下に繰返し変更することによって,前記音声の明瞭さの評価を高める,方法。 - 前記補聴器(22)に接続された外部フィッティング・システム(56)において,前記利得レベルを繰返し変更し,修正された利得レベルを前記補聴器(22)のプログラム・メモリに転送する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記利得レベルを上下に繰返し変更するステップが,前記音声の明瞭さの評価を高めるための利得値を,前記周波数帯域の第1部分に対してそれぞれ決定し,かつ前記周波数帯域の第1部分に関する利得値間の補間を通じて,前記周波数帯域の第2部分に対する利得値をそれぞれ決定することによって,前記利得ベクトルを決定する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 評価された音声レベルおよび雑音レベルに基づいて,個々の周波数帯域のそれぞれの非増幅音の音量L0を計算し,
前記補聴器(22)の個々の周波数帯域の調整された利得値に対応する音量Lと,計算された非増幅音の音量L0を比較し,
音量Lが音量L0よりも大きい場合に,初期利得値(g0)から利得値増分(ΔG)を減算し,音量L0が音量Lよりも大きい場合に初期利得値(g0)に利得値増分(ΔG)を加算する,請求項16に記載の方法。 - 利得値増分(ΔG)にスカラー係数を乗算することによって,前記利得ベクトルを調整する,請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記利得ベクトルの各利得値を調整する,請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,発音の明瞭度指数(AI)として決定する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,音声の明瞭さの指数(SII)として決定する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの評価を,音声伝達指数(STI)として決定する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記音声レベルの評価および雑音レベルの評価を,それぞれパーセンタイルの値として決定する,請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記音声の明瞭さの指数(SII)を,前記音声レベルの値,前記雑音レベルの値および聴力損失ベクトルの関数として決定する,請求項23に記載の方法。
