Description

The present invention relates to a structure for attaching a roof cap disposed on a ceiling portion of a cabin, a head guard or the like constituting a part of a driver's cab in an industrial vehicle.

Cabs or head guards are often part of the cabs for industrial vehicles, especially forklifts, excavator loaders, crane vehicles, etc., so that drivers can be protected from falling objects from forks, etc. It has been.
A plurality of roof holes are formed in a ceiling portion of the cabin or the like for directly confirming a load state or the like when the fork is lifted, that is, for securing a driver's upper view.
Normally, this roof hole is opened, but when it is raining or working in the refrigerator, the roof hole is closed by a roof cap made of resin, for example, so that rainwater or cold air does not enter the cab from the roof hole. (See Patent Documents 1 and 2).
Covering and closing the roof hole with a roof cap can prevent rain water or cold air from entering to some extent, but work in a work environment where the temperature difference from the outside air, such as a freezer compartment, is extremely large and requires tightness in the cab is required. In the case of performing sealing, a sealer is applied between the roof hole and the roof cap to improve the sealing performance.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-123941 (page 2-3, FIG. 1-2) JP-A-11-348822 (page 2-4, FIGS. 1 and 3)

However, the sealer is generally applied around the roof hole in advance before attaching the roof cap, but the application work is performed on the ceiling of the cabin of an industrial vehicle such as a forklift, and brushes are applied. It was difficult to say that workability was good because it was performed manually.
Also, the sealer is in the form of a paste, and it is difficult to make the applied width and thickness (height) uniform for all roof holes, and when the roof cap is fitted and installed, the edge of the roof cap In some cases, the sealer may stick out and a good appearance may not be obtained.

Also, the roof cap solidified when it needs to be replaced due to backlash or damage due to contact damage with the outside air blocking cover installed at the entrance to the refrigerator or deterioration based on cold air. It was a troublesome and cumbersome work to remove the sealer completely, apply the sealer again, and then fit the roof cap.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a roof for an industrial vehicle that can be fitted and fitted with a high sealing property between the roof hole and the roof cap and can be quickly replaced. To provide a cap mounting structure.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a head wall portion capable of covering a roof hole with a roof hole formed in a ceiling portion constituting a part of a cab, and a side wall portion extending from the head wall portion. In the roof cap mounting structure for an industrial vehicle, the roof hole is closed by the roof cap formed from the above and the engaging portion formed on the side wall portion of the roof cap is engaged with the ceiling portion.
The roof hole has an annular frame-shaped portion that protrudes upward and is formed over the entire circumference of the roof hole, and a locking groove portion that engages with the locking portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion. And forming an annular elastic member that surrounds the peripheral edge of the roof hole between the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion and the inner peripheral surface of the side wall portion, and between the locking portion and the locking groove portion At the time of engagement, the annular elastic member seals between the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion and the inner peripheral surface of the side wall portion .
Here, the “periphery of the roof hole” refers to the upper and lower surfaces of the ceiling near the roof hole and the peripheral surface of the roof hole, and the annular shape of the “annular elastic member” is only circular. As long as the shape is similar to the shape of the roof hole, any shape such as an ellipse or a rectangle is included.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the roof hole of the roof cap can be formed only by performing an extremely simple operation of fitting the side wall of the roof cap into the roof hole or removing the side wall of the roof cap from the roof hole. It is possible to perform a sealing fitting operation or a roof cap replacement operation.
In addition, by inserting the roof cap into the outer periphery of the frame-like portion while holding the annular elastic member between the head wall portion and the locking portion of the roof cap, the annular elastic property is provided between the side wall portion and the frame-like portion. The member can be fitted and disposed in a compressed state. Therefore, when the roof cap is fitted, the sealing performance can be secured, and when the roof cap is detached from the roof hole, it is possible to prevent rainwater, frost and the like remaining on the ceiling from dropping from the roof hole. .

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the roof cap mounting structure for an industrial vehicle according to the first aspect, the side wall portion includes notches formed on both sides of the locking portion .

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the engagement and disengagement between the locking portion of the roof cap and the locking groove portion of the roof hole is further facilitated by the cut portion.

According to the present invention, it is not necessary to peel off and apply the sealer around the roof hole when replacing the roof cap, so that the roof cap can be replaced quickly, and rainwater and outside air can be prevented from entering by fitting and fitting with high sealing performance. Became possible.

The following describes the roof cap mounting structure of the industrial vehicle according to implementation embodiments with reference to FIGS.
The roof cap mounting structure in this embodiment is applied to a cabin or head guard that constitutes a cab of a forklift, and is optimally adapted to a refrigeration / refrigerator specification cabin as shown in FIG. It is.
The cabin 1 shown in FIG. 1 is configured to form a driver's cab surrounded by a vehicle body floor, front and rear walls, left and right walls, and a ceiling portion, as is well known, and the ceiling portion forming the ceiling portion of the driver's cab. A plurality of, for example, rectangular roof holes 2a are formed on at least the front side of 2 in order to improve the upper front view for confirming the raising and lowering of the fork, the cargo handling state, and the like. In addition, an appropriate number of roof holes 2a having an arbitrary shape are formed on the rear side so as to control ventilation of the cab.

An annular frame-like portion 2b protruding upward is formed on the entire periphery of the roof hole 2a, and preferably has a conical cylinder shape that is narrowed toward the top end. The frame-like portion 2b may be integrally formed on the entire periphery of the roof hole 2a by welding or the like, but when the roof hole 2a is pressed, the frame is formed by drilling the roof hole 2a and drawing the peripheral members of the hole. You may perform formation of the shape part 2b.
Further, an appropriate number of locking groove portions 2c are formed at appropriate positions on the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion 2b. However, the locking groove portions 2c are not necessarily provided on the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion 2b. You may form in the inner peripheral surface side of the shape part 2b.

In the figure, reference numeral 3 denotes a roof cap, which has an outer shape similar to the outer shape of the roof hole 2a and can cover the roof hole 2a, and downward from the outer edge of the head wall portion 3a. And an annular side wall portion 3b extending. The side wall portion 3b has a divergent shape whose diameter increases toward the lower end, and its inclination angle is preferably substantially the same angle as the outer peripheral inclined surface of the frame-like portion 2b.
At the lower end of the side wall portion 3b of the roof cap 3 or in the vicinity thereof, an appropriate number of, for example, claw-shaped locking portions 3c that can be engaged with the locking groove portions 2c formed in the frame-shaped portion 2b of the roof hole 2a. It protrudes individually.

The side wall 3b of the roof cap 3 may have an annular shape along the outer shape of the roof hole 2a. However, the elastic force in the opening direction of the engaging portion 3c forming portion is increased to allow the expansion action. For this purpose, it is desirable to cut notches 3d at appropriate portions of the side wall 3b, particularly in the vicinity of both sides of the portion where the locking portion 3c protrudes. Engagement / disengagement of the hole 2a with the locking groove 2c is further facilitated.
Further, the side wall portion between the locking portions 3c is deleted, or a plurality of side wall portions 3b each having a locking portion 3c formed at the lower end are extended downward from the outer edge of the head wall portion 3a. The expansion action in the opening direction of the part 3c may be allowed.

Between the engaging portion 3c and the inner surface of the head wall portion 3a on the inner peripheral side of the side wall portion 3b of the roof cap 3, a shape similar to the outer shape of the roof hole 2a is formed, and the frame-like portion of the roof hole 2a 2b outside and around the annular elastic member 4 where the possible cyclic shape surrounded by compressed state is disposed, the ring-shaped elastic-member 4, it is desirable solid or hollow elastic rubber a soft resin material Also good.

Described below the operation of the implementation embodiment structured as described above.
First, the roof cap 3 and the annular elastic member 4 are put in an assembled state using the locking portion 3c of the roof cap 3.
Next, the roof cap 3 is fitted into the frame-shaped portion 2b of the roof hole 2a from the outside, and the locking portion 3c formed on the side wall portion 3b of the roof cap 3 is engaged with the locking groove 2c of the frame-shaped portion 2b. The roof hole 2a is closed by the roof cap 3 by pushing it in until it matches.

At this time, the annular elastic member 4 is interposed in the gap between the inner peripheral surface of the side wall 3b of the roof cap 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the frame-shaped portion 2b of the roof hole 2a in a state of being attached to the frame-shaped portion 2b. When the stopper 3c and the locking groove 2c are engaged, the roof is formed by elastic deformation of the annular elastic member 4 between the outer peripheral surface of the frame-like portion 2b and the inner peripheral surface of the side wall 3b. The space between the cap 3 and the roof hole 2a is sealed, and the outer periphery of the roof hole 2a is enclosed in a sealed state.
