Description
The present invention relates to a telecentric lens having a telecentric property on the object side obtained by deforming a double Gauss lens, and in particular, a telecentric lens used in a camera for recognizing a component mounted on a mounting machine for mounting an electronic component on a substrate. About.
In the process of mounting electronic components on the board, in order to accurately position each electronic component at a predetermined position, an image of the electronic component sucked by the suction nozzle is taken by a recognition camera, and the obtained image data is calculated. By processing and finely adjusting the position of the suction nozzle, a slight positional deviation of the electronic component is corrected.
As a lens used in this recognition camera, when recognizing an object (electronic component), telecentricity on the object side is set so that the size of the captured image does not change even if the object moves (fluctuates) in the optical axis direction. Need to be raised.
Thus, a conventional telecentric lens having telecentricity on the object side generally has the following three parts (A), (B), (C),
(A) a first lens group for taking in a telecentric light beam reaching from an object and bending it toward the aperture stop;
(B) a second lens group disposed before and after the aperture stop for correcting various aberrations;
(C) a third lens group for forming the subject light at a predetermined position on the image plane;
(For example,
In these lens groups, the first lens arranged closest to the subject (object) of the first lens group is required to have a lens diameter equal to or larger than the size of the subject. In addition, lenses other than the first lens also require the same lens diameter, and particularly in reduction photography, the lens diameter is significantly larger than that of the second lens group and the third lens group.
By the way, in the conventional telecentric lens, since the lens diameter of the first lens group is large, if a shape that can be manufactured at low cost is adopted in the first lens group, or if it is manufactured using an inexpensive glass material, A large cost reduction effect can be expected.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to correct various aberrations while having an imaging range of about φ60 mm and an imaging magnification of about × 0.4. An object of the present invention is to provide a telecentric lens having a telecentric property on the object side, which can be reduced in cost by suppressing the conjugate length to an appropriate length of 240 mm or less.
The telecentric lens of the present invention includes, in order from the object side to the image surface side, a biconvex first lens having a positive refractive power with a convex surface facing the object side and the image surface side, and a convex surface and an image on the object side. A plano-convex second lens having a positive refractive power with the plane facing the surface side, a biconvex third lens having a positive refractive power with the convex surface facing the object side and the image plane side, and the object side And a fourth lens having a negative refractive power, which is cemented to the third lens with the concave surface facing the image surface side, an aperture stop having a predetermined aperture, and the concave surface facing the object side and the image surface side A bi-concave fifth lens having negative refractive power, a bi-convex sixth lens having positive refractive power joined to the fifth lens with the convex surface facing the object side and the image plane side, and the object A biconvex seventh lens having positive refractive power with the convex surface facing the image side and the image surface side, and the convex surface facing the object side and the concave surface facing the image surface side Is composed of a eighth lens of a meniscus shape having a positive refractive power, a third lens and a seventh lens is formed of the same glass material is characterized by.
According to this configuration, the principal ray emitted from the subject (object) travels parallel to the optical axis, enters the first lens, and is refracted in the convergence direction when passing through the first lens and the second lens, respectively. Then, after passing through the third lens and the fourth lens, it is limited to a predetermined light flux by the aperture stop and is reversed with the optical axis as the symmetry axis. Further, after passing through the fifth lens and the sixth lens, when passing through the seventh lens and the eighth lens, it is refracted in the convergence direction and enters the imaging surface.
In other words, various aberrations are well corrected, the imaging range is about 60 mm, the imaging magnification is about x0.4, and the conjugate length is suppressed to an appropriate length of 240 mm or less. A lens is obtained. Here, since the second lens is a plano-convex lens in which the surface on the image plane side is formed into a flat surface, the processing cost can be reduced by adopting the flat surface, and the cost of the entire lens can be reduced. it can. Further, since the third lens and the seventh lens are formed of the same glass material, the glass material cost can be reduced, and the overall cost can be further reduced.
In the above configuration, when the refractive index of the first lens is N1 and the refractive index of the second lens is N2, the following conditional expressions (1), (2),
(1) 1.60 <N1 <1.65
(2) 1.60 <N2 <1.65
A configuration that satisfies the above can be adopted.
According to this configuration, as the first lens and the second lens, the relatively low-priced glass material is used so as to satisfy the conditional expressions (1) and (2), and various aberrations are corrected well. Cost can be reduced.
In the above configuration, the first lens and the second lens may be formed of the same glass material.
According to this configuration, by using the same glass material for at least two lenses (first lens and second lens), the glass material cost can be reduced, and the overall cost can be further reduced. .
In the above configuration, a configuration in which the fourth lens, the fifth lens, and the eighth lens are formed of the same glass material can be employed.
According to this configuration, by using the same glass material for at least three lenses (the fourth lens, the fifth lens, and the eighth lens), the glass material cost can be reduced, and the overall cost is further increased. Can be reduced.
As described above, according to the telecentric lens of the present invention, an inexpensive lens in which various aberrations are favorably corrected can be obtained. Specifically, a lens for a recognition camera or the like having telecentricity on the object side with an imaging range of about φ60 mm, an imaging magnification of about × 0.4, and a conjugate length of 240 mm or less. A telecentric lens suitable for the optical system can be obtained.
