Description
針の無い注射器が、表皮を通した下側組織への薬液注入のための針式皮下注射器の代わりに使用される。このような装置の構造の一般的形状は、皮膚と接触するように配置され、それを通して薬物が患者の皮膚を貫通するのに十分な高速で噴射される、小さい放出オリフィスを有するシリンジである。薬物を加圧するのに必要なエネルギーは、圧縮コイルばね、圧縮気体、爆発性充填材料、またはいくつかのその他の形態の蓄積エネルギーに由来することができる。
本発明は、薬物内の圧力の非常に迅速な上昇が、薬物内の泡の迅速な崩壊を引き起こし得るという認識を基にしている。この泡崩壊は、十分迅速に発生した場合、カプセル内に衝撃波を生じさせ、これは極めて高い局所的応力を生じ得る。これらの応力は、時としてこの初期圧力ピークの間にカプセルの破損を引き起こし、結果として不完全な注射を生じさせる可能性がある。
片端に開口部を有するシリンジ本体;
シリンジ本体内において、開口部を通して液体を推進させるための、シリンジ本体内に収容されたピストン;
ピストンを駆動させるためのラム;
ラムへ力を加えるための手段;および
ラムからピストンへの力の初期伝達を減少させる衝撃吸収手段。
力のプロファイルをラムに加える工程;
送達サイクルの第一段階の間に、ラムに加えられた力を少なくとも一部吸収して減少させた力をピストンへ加える工程;および
送達サイクルの第二段階の間に、ラムに加えられた実質的に全ての力を、ピストンへ移す工程。
図1は、片端に開口部106を有するカートリッジ103の形状であるシリンジ本体を含む、公知の無針注射器を示す。ピストン104は、開口部106を通して、カートリッジ内の液体105を推進するために、カートリッジ103内に収容されている。ラム111は、ピストンを駆動させるために提供され、およびラム111に力を加える配置が提供される。
Claims (10)
- 片端に開口部を有するシリンジ本体;
シリンジ本体内において、開口部を通して液体を推進させるための、シリンジ本体内に収容されたピストン;
ピストンを駆動させるためのラムであって、該ラムと該ピストンの間にギャップを提供するために設置されたラム;および
ラムとピストンの間のギャップに位置し、ラムからピストンへの力の初期伝達を起こすシリンダーであって、前記ラムの末端がシリンダー内にスライド可能なように位置し、前記力がラムとピストンの間の引き続きの衝撃力よりも実質的に小さい、シリンダー
を含む、無針注射器。 - シリンダーの片端が閉鎖され、その閉鎖端はピストンに隣接して配置され、ラムが、ラムへ力を加える前にシリンダーの開放端に隣接して収納されている、請求項1記載の注射器。
- シリンダーが両端で開口している、請求項1記載の注射器。
- シリンダーの内部開口部が一定の内径を有する、請求項3記載の注射器。
- シリンダーの内部開口部が、ラムと協動するためのシリンダー末端の第一の内径、および第二のより小さい内径の、少なくとも2種の内径を有する、請求項3記載の注射器。
- シリンダーの内部開口部が3種の内径を有し、第三の内径がピストンと協動するためにシリンダー末端にあり、第三の内径は第二の内径よりも大きい、請求項5記載の注射器。
- 第三の内径がラムの直径と等しいかまたはそれより大きい、請求項6記載の注射器。
- シリンダーが1mm〜5mmの長さを有する、請求項1記載の注射器。
- ラムが液密嵌合を伴うシリンダー内にスライド式に収納される、請求項1記載の注射器。
- 加圧気体の供給源をさらに含む、請求項1記載の注射器。
