Abstract

Description
針の無い注射器が、表皮を通した下側組織への薬液注入のための針式皮下注射器の代わりに使用される。このような装置の構造の一般的形状は、皮膚と接触するように配置され、それを通して薬物が患者の皮膚を貫通するのに十分な高速で噴射される、小さい放出オリフィスを有するシリンジである。薬物を加圧するのに必要なエネルギーは、圧縮コイルばね、圧縮気体、爆発性充填材料、またはいくつかのその他の形態の蓄積エネルギーに由来することができる。

Claims (18)
- 片端に開口部を有するシリンジ本体;
シリンジ本体内において、開口部を通して液体を推進させるための、シリンジ本体内に収容されたピストン;
ピストンを駆動させるためのラム;
ラムへ力を加えるための手段;および
ラムからピストンへの力の初期伝達を減少させる衝撃吸収手段
を含む、無針注射器。 - 衝撃吸収手段が、ラムおよび/またはピストンに関連した構成部品を含む、請求項1記載の注射器。
- 衝撃吸収手段が、その中へラムの末端がスライド式に収納されるシリンダーを含む、請求項2記載の注射器。
- シリンダーがピストンの一部を形成している、請求項3記載の注射器。
- シリンダーの片端が閉鎖され、その閉鎖端はピストンに隣接して配置され、ラムが、ラムへ力を加える前にシリンダーの開放端に隣接して収納されている、請求項3または4記載の注射器。
- シリンダーが両端で開口している、請求項3または4記載の注射器。
- シリンダーの内部開口部が一定の内径を有する、請求項6記載の注射器。

- 第三の内径がラムの直径と等しいかまたはそれより大きい、請求項9記載の注射器。
- シリンダーが1mm〜5mmの長さを有する、請求項3〜10のいずれか1項記載の注射器。
- ラムが液密嵌合を伴うシリンダー内にスライド式に収納される、請求項3〜11のいずれか1項記載の注射器。
- 衝撃吸収手段が圧縮可能な部材を含む、請求項1記載の注射器。
- ラムへ力を加える手段が加圧流体の供給源を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項記載の注射器。
- 以下の工程を含む、シリンジ本体内に収容されたピストンおよびピストンを駆動させるためのラムを含みこれにより液体をシリンジから送り出す、無針注射器のシリンジから液体を送達する方法:
力のプロファイルをラムに加える工程;
送達サイクルの第一段階の間に、ラムに加えられた力を少なくとも一部吸収し、減少した力をピストンへ加える工程;ならびに
送達サイクルの第二段階の間に、ラムに加えられた実質的に全ての力を、ピストンへ移す工程。 - 第一段階において、ピストンからラムの間に間隔をあけることによりラムへ加えられた力が吸収され、この間隔が第一段階の間に減少する、請求項15記載の方法。
- 間隔が第一段階の間に減少した場合、ラムのピストンへの移動が気体の密閉容積の圧縮を引き起こす、請求項16記載の方法。
- 片端に開口部を有するシリンジ本体;
シリンジ本体内において、開口部を通して液体を推進させるための、シリンジ本体内に収容されたピストン;
ピストンを駆動させるためのラム;
ラムへ力を加えるための手段;および
液体中の泡の崩壊速度を制御する手段
を含む、無針注射器。
