Description
Claims (13)
- クロスヘッド型大型2サイクルディーゼルエンジンであって、
少なくとも第1の燃料噴射弁および第2の燃料噴射弁がそれぞれ設けられる複数のシリンダーと、
高圧燃料源と、
少なくとも第1の燃料コモンレールおよび第2の燃料コモンレールと、
を備え、
前記第1の燃料コモンレールおよび前記第2の燃料コモンレールは相互に連結されずに、前記高圧燃料源に連結され、
前記第1の燃料噴射弁は前記第1の燃料コモンレールに連結され、前記第2の燃料噴射弁は前記第2の燃料コモンレールに連結される、
エンジンであって、前記第1及び前記第2の一方の燃料コモンレールにおいて圧力が低下すると、前記第1及び前記第2の他方の燃料コモンレールおよび該他方の燃料コモンレールに関連する前記燃料噴射弁によって動作するように構成される、エンジン。 - 前記シリンダーには、第3の燃料噴射弁がそれぞれ設けられ、前記第3の燃料噴射弁は、前記第1の燃料コモンレール、前記第2の燃料コモンレール、またはその他の燃料レールに連結されてない第3の燃料コモンレールに連結される、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記高圧燃料源は、高圧ポンプステーションまたは1つ以上の高圧燃料ポンプを備える、請求項1または2に記載のエンジン。
- 前記コモンレールの各々は、専用高圧燃料ポンプまたは専用高圧ポンプステーションに連結される、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のエンジン。
- 前記第1の燃料コモンレールおよび前記第2の燃料コモンレールは、異なる圧力レベルで動作せしめられる、請求項4に記載のエンジン。
- 前記第1および第2の燃料コモンレールを異なる圧力で動作せしめることに起因する熱負荷の変化を補うように、燃焼室構成要素を冷却するように構成される、請求項5に記載のエンジン。
- エンジン停止中に、前記燃料噴射システムの燃料の温度を維持し、かつ脱気状態に維持するための燃料再循環システムをさらに備える、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のエンジン。
- 前記燃料再循環システムは、エンジン停止中に、前記燃料コモンレールおよび前記燃料噴射器を介した再循環を確実にする、請求項7に記載のエンジン。
- 低負荷状態中は、前記第1及び前記第2の燃料コモンレールのいずれかの燃料のみで動作するように構成される、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のエンジン。
- 大型2サイクルディーゼルエンジンの動作方法であって、
前記エンジンは、
各シリンダーに2つ以上の燃料噴射弁が設けられる複数のシリンダーと、
第2の燃料コモンレールには連結されない第1の燃料コモンレールを備えるコモンレール燃料噴射システムと、
を備え、前記シリンダーの各々において、前記燃料噴射弁のうちの少なくとも1つが前記第1の燃料コモンレールに連結されると共に、前記燃料噴射弁のうちの少なくとも1つは前記第2の燃料コモンレールに連結されており、
前記第1及び前記第2の一方の燃料コモンレールにおいて圧力が低下すると、前記第1及び前記第2の他方の燃料コモンレールおよび該他方の燃料コモンレールに関連する前記燃料噴射弁によって前記エンジンを動作せしめる、
方法。 - 前記第1の燃料コモンレールおよび前記第2の燃料コモンレールを異なる圧力レベルで動作させることをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の燃料コモンレールの圧力レベルは前記エンジンの燃料消費を減少させる目的で選択される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の燃料コモンレールの圧力レベルは前記エンジンの排ガスを減少させる目的で選択される、請求項10から12のいずれかに記載の方法。
