Description
により決められ、ここでVpとHpとはそれぞれこのディスプレーパネルにおけるディスプレー素子の垂直ピッチと水平ピッチとである。それらの値が先に記載したものであると仮定すると、その時3又は4と等しいrに対して傾斜角αはそれぞれ6.34°及び4.76°になる。しかしながら、傾斜角が減少するとともにビュー間の重なり合いが増大する。

Claims (4)
- 列と前記列に垂直な行とに配設されたディスプレー画素を有し、ディスプレー画素ピッチを有するディスプレー画素アレイと、
互いに平行に延在する細長いレンチキュラー素子を有し、レンチキュラー素子ピッチを有するレンチキュラー素子アレイと、
を有する多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置において、
前記レンチキュラー素子アレイは、前記ディスプレー画素がそれを通して観察されることができるように前記ディスプレー画素アレイの観察側にあり、
前記レンチキュラー素子ピッチが列方向における前記ディスプレー画素ピッチより大きく、
各レンチキュラー素子の長さ方向は、同じ行及び隣接した列のディスプレー画素が異なるビューに属するような角度で前記ディスプレー画素アレイの行方向に対して傾けられていることを特徴とする多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置。 - 請求項1記載の多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置において、前記レンチキュラー素子アレイが前記のディスプレーパネルの出力側上に置かれていることを特徴とする多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置。
- 請求項1記載の多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置において、前記の装置が前記のディスプレー画素を作るためにディスプレースクリーン上へディスプレー素子の映像を投写するための投写レンズを含むこと、及び前記のレンチキュラー素子アレイが前記のディスプレースクリーンの観察側上に置かれたことを特徴とする多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置において、前記ディスプレーパネルのディスプレー素子が液晶ディスプレー素子を具えていることを特徴とする多重ビュー自動立体ディスプレー装置。
