Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell, a cell stack, and a fuel cell, and in particular, a fuel cell comprising a solid electrolyte on one side of a support having a gas flow path, an oxygen side electrode, an interconnector on the other side, and a P-type semiconductor. And a cell stack and a fuel cell.
In recent years, various fuel cells in which a stack of fuel cells is accommodated in a storage container have been proposed as next-generation energy. Various types of fuel cells such as a solid polymer type, a phosphoric acid type, a molten carbonate type, and a solid electrolyte type are known. Among them, a solid electrolyte type fuel cell has an operating temperature of 800. Although it is as high as ˜1000 ° C., it has advantages such as high power generation efficiency and the ability to use exhaust heat, and its research and development is being promoted.
However, in the above conventional fuel cell, the oxygen-side electrode and the P-type semiconductor are reduced by the fuel gas (hydrogen) derived from the gas flow path of the fuel cell, and the fuel cell does not function effectively as an electrode. There was a problem that the power generation performance deteriorated with time.
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell, a cell stack, and a fuel cell that can prevent deterioration of power generation performance over time.
According to the present inventor, although the power density can be increased by increasing the electrode area, when the oxygen-side electrode and the P-type semiconductor are formed up to the end of the support in the gas outlet direction, The oxygen side electrode made of conductive ceramics and the P-type semiconductor are reduced by contact with the fuel gas (hydrogen) derived from the gas flow path of the support, or are produced by mixing and burning the fuel gas and air. It has been found that not only it can be oxidized and decomposed in contact with a combustion gas containing 2 O and cannot function effectively as an electrode, but also deteriorates over time as an electrode, and the voltage drop of the fuel cell increases. The present invention has been reached.
That is, the fuel cell of the present invention, one side fuel side electrode provided on a support having a gas flow path, and the solid electrolyte and the oxygen-side electrode, the interconnector provided on the other side of the support and P and a type semiconductor, the oxygen-side electrode, the provided except the gas out direction side end portion of the support member, the P-type semiconductor is opposite to the support in between the interconnector And the gas lead-out direction end of the P-type semiconductor is located inside the gas lead-out direction end of the interconnector .
The fuel cell of the present invention includes a solid electrolyte and an oxygen side electrode provided on one side of a support body having a gas flow path and also serving as a fuel side electrode, and an interconnector provided on the other side of the support body. And the P-type semiconductor, wherein the oxygen-side electrode is provided except for an end portion on the gas outlet direction side of the support, and the P-type semiconductor is connected to the support with the interconnector interposed therebetween. The gas lead-out direction end of the P-type semiconductor is located on the inner side of the gas lead-out direction end of the interconnector.
In such a fuel cell, since the oxygen side electrode and the P-type semiconductor are not formed at the end of the support in the gas outlet direction side, the fuel gas (hydrogen) derived from the gas flow path of the support is used. It is difficult to be reduced, or it is difficult to be oxidized and decomposed by contact with a combustion gas containing H 2 O produced by mixing and burning fuel gas and air, and deterioration of the oxygen side electrode and the P-type semiconductor can be suppressed. Deterioration can be suppressed.
In a fuel cell, a plurality of fuel cells are generally arranged at a predetermined interval, and a current collecting member is interposed between an oxygen side electrode of one adjacent fuel cell and a P-type semiconductor of the other fuel cell. A plurality of cell stacks prepared in parallel are arranged side by side, oxygen-containing gas is supplied between the cell stacks, and this oxygen-containing gas is supplied between the cells. Since the interval is larger than the interval, the oxygen-containing gas tends to flow between the cell stacks rather than between the cells. Therefore, as described above, when the fuel cell has a flat plate shape, an oxygen-side electrode is formed on one main surface, and a P-type semiconductor is formed on the other main surface, the flow of the oxygen-containing gas supplied to them is Since the fuel gas and the combustion gas supplied into the fuel battery cell are weak and easily cause the above problem, the fuel battery cell of the present invention can be preferably used.
Furthermore, the fuel cell of the present invention, and the oxygen-side electrode and the P-type semiconductor, characterized in that it is formed at a position opposed through the support. Thereby, since an electric current flows through the electroconductive support body between an oxygen side electrode and a P-type semiconductor by the shortest distance, a voltage fall can be suppressed. Further, a plurality of fuel cells are aligned at a predetermined interval, and a current collecting member is interposed in series between the oxygen-side electrode of one fuel cell facing the P-type semiconductor of the other fuel cell. When connected to, the current flows between the plurality of fuel cells in the shortest distance, and the voltage drop of the cell stack can be suppressed.
Furthermore, the fuel cell of the present invention is characterized in that the P-type semiconductor is made of the same material as the oxygen side electrodes. Since the P-type semiconductor is disposed on the outermost surface of the interconnector, it is in contact with an oxygen-containing gas at a high temperature and easily oxidatively decomposes. Therefore, it is the same as the oxygen-side electrode material having high conductivity stably even in an oxidizing atmosphere It is preferable to use materials.
The fuel cell of the present invention is characterized in that the cell stack is accommodated in a storage container. In such a fuel cell, as described above, the reduction of the oxygen-side electrode and the P-type semiconductor of the fuel cell can be suppressed and deterioration of the electrode performance with time can be prevented, so that the long-term reliability of the fuel cell can be improved.
In the fuel battery cell of the present invention, the oxygen side electrode and the P-type semiconductor are not formed at the end of the support in the gas outlet direction side, so the fuel cell is reduced by the fuel gas (hydrogen) derived from the gas flow path of the support. Suppresses voltage drop due to deterioration of oxygen side electrode and P-type semiconductor because it is difficult to be oxidized or decomposed by coming into contact with combustion gas containing H 2 O produced by mixed combustion of fuel gas and air. And high power density can be maintained for a long time.
The fuel cell of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 1, a
That is, in the
Since both ends of the
The overlapping portions A and B are configured by stacking the end portion of the
Further, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the
In the fuel cell of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the oxygen-
Further, the lower end portion of the
The
By forming the
The positions where the
In the present invention, the
On the other hand, the

(Support substrate 31)
In the
The Ni metal component is for imparting electrical conductivity to the
The rare earth oxide component is used to approximate the thermal expansion coefficient of the
In the present invention, the iron group component described above is contained in the

In the present invention, the fuel-

(Oxygen side electrode 34)

(Interconnector 35)
The

First, a rare earth element oxide powder excluding La, Ce, Pr, and Nd elements and Ni and / or NiO powder are mixed, and a support substrate material in which an organic binder and a solvent are mixed is extruded into the mixed powder. To produce a support substrate molded body.
Next, Ni and / or NiO powder, ZrO 2 powder in which a rare earth element is dissolved, an organic binder, and a solvent are mixed to produce a slurry that becomes a fuel-side electrode molded body.

Next, a sheet-like solid electrolyte molded body is prepared using a solid electrolyte material in which a rare earth element is solid-solved ZrO 2 powder, an organic binder, and a solvent. Next, a slurry to be the fuel side electrode is applied to one side of the solid electrolyte molded body, and the solid electrolyte molded body is applied to the coating film to be the fuel side electrode formed on the one main surface of the support substrate molded body. It is covered and dried so that the coating film to be the fuel side electrode contacts and the both end faces of the solid electrolyte molded body are spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval on the other main surface.
Next, a sheet-like interconnector molded body is prepared using an interconnector material in which a lanthanum-chromium oxide powder, an organic binder, and a solvent are mixed.
Next, a slurry to be a bonding layer molded body in which Ni and / or NiO powder, a ZrO 2 powder in which a rare earth element is solid-solved, an organic binder, and a solvent is mixed is prepared and applied to one side of the interconnector molded body. .
Next, the surface on which the slurry is applied to the sheet-like interconnector molded body is in contact with the exposed support substrate molded body, and both ends of the interconnector molded body abut both ends of the solid electrolyte molded body. Laminate to touch.
Thus, the fuel-side electrode molded body and the solid electrolyte molded body are sequentially laminated on one side main surface of the support substrate molded body, and the joining layer molded body and the interconnector molded body are laminated on the other side main surface. A laminated molded body is produced in which both ends of the molded body are laminated on both ends of the solid electrolyte molded body. In addition, each molded object can be produced by sheet | seat shaping | molding by a doctor blade, printing, slurry dip, spraying by spraying, etc., or may be produced by a combination thereof.
Next, the multilayer molded body is degreased and cofired at 1300 to 1600 ° C. in an oxygen-containing atmosphere.
Next, a transition metal perovskite oxide powder, which is a P-type semiconductor, and a solvent are mixed to prepare a paste, and the laminate is immersed in the paste, and the

In such a fuel cell, the flow of the oxygen-containing gas supplied between the cells tends to be weaker than the flow between the cell stacks, so that the wraparound of the fuel gas and the wraparound of the combustion gas is likely to occur. For example , the support substrate and the inner electrode may be formed with the same composition. For example, ZrO 2 in which Ni and Y 2 O 3 are dissolved may be used. In this case, the support substrate and the inner electrode are replaced with an inner electrode that also serves as a support.
