Claims (3)
- 直径の異なる複数の球形カプセルを同心状に重畳配置すると共に、その中心に中性子検出器を収納し、球形カプセルで区切られた各球殻状空間内に粉末状減速材を充填可能並びに各球殻状空間から粉末状減速材を排出可能とし、充填状況により減速材層の直径を可変とした中性子検出部を具備している中性子測定装置であって、
各球殻状空間内に粉末状減速材を供給する減速材供給手段と、各球殻状空間に充填されている粉末状減速材を保持・排出する減速材保持・排出機構とを有し、前記減速材供給手段は、粉末状減速材を回収するホッパと、該ホッパ内の粉末状減速材を搬送する粉体ポンプと、該粉体ポンプと中性子検出部の各球殻状空間とを連通する減速材供給流路と、各減速材供給流路に組み込まれた流路切替バルブとを具備し、減速材保持・排出機構から排出された粉末状減速材をホッパで回収し、循環使用するようにしたことを特徴とする粉末状減速材型中性子測定装置。 - 4個以上の球形カプセルを組み合わせ、球形カプセルで区切られた球殻状空間を4層以上形成することにより、4種類以上の直径の異なる球状の減速材層をもつ中性子検出部を構成する請求項1記載の粉末状減速材型中性子測定装置。
- 各球形カプセルは2つ割り構造であり、2個の半球体が上下球結合フランジで接合・切離自在となっており、中心の中性子検出器として中性子用球形比例計数管を用い、カプセル外装に熱中性子成分をカットするCd層を設けた請求項1又は2記載の粉末状減速材型中性子測定装置。
