Description
CSI_Avail:[IP LAN:A=(レベル2=使用不可);ハンドル=12、“ルータxがダウン”]
CSI_alertグループが次の上位またはアップストリームレベルで親コンポーネントに伝搬する場合、親コンポーネントは2つのタスクを実行する。第1に、親コンポーネントは、そのダウンストリームにある「子」コンポーネントからのすべてのCSIおよびそのレベルで処理された任意のアラートを考慮に入れて、それ自体に関する可用度インジケータおよび性能インジケータを割り当てる。第2に、親コンポーネントは、その子の可用度および性能の両方のCSIの重要度レベルを修正するかどうかを判定する。

Claims (22)
- 通信ネットワークにおいてアラートを処理する方法において、
通信サービスに関連付けられた、前記通信ネットワークのコンポーネントに関する複数のアラートを受信するステップであって、前記複数のアラートの各アラートはキー性能インジケータ(KPI)を含むステップと、
前記複数のアラートの中の各アラートに対するハンドルを生成するステップであって、前記複数のアラートの中の所与のアラートに対するハンドルは前記所与のアラートを記述する情報を含んでいるステップと、
前記複数のKPIを使用した規則のセットに基づいて、前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントに関する1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成するステップであって、前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータの各々は、重大度レベルおよび前記複数のハンドルの少なくとも1つのハンドルからの前記所与のアラートを記述する前記情報を含んでいるステップと、
前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータに基づいて、前記通信サービスに対する影響を示している影響インデックス(SII)を生成するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータの1つのコンポーネント状況インジケータに、前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントへのパスを関連付けるステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータの前記1つのコンポーネント状況インジケータが、サービスに影響を与えるコンポーネント状況インジケータであることを決定するステップと、
前記サービスに影響を与えるコンポーネント状況インジケータに対する根本原因分析を実行するステップと
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記通信サービスに影響を与えるコンポーネント状況インジケータに対する根本原因分析を実行する前記ステップは、
前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントに対する前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータに関連付けられた情報を引き出すステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントに対する前記複数のアラートの内のアラートに対する原因を規定しているハンドルを生成するステップであって、前記ハンドルはアラートのタイプ、アラート時間およびアラートの持続期間に関する情報を含むステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記サービス影響インデックス(SII)は、前記通信サービスに対するサービス品質に関する前記複数のアラートの少なくとも1つのアラートの影響を示すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 重み付け係数を乗算された、複数の通信サービスの各々の通信サービスに対する前記サービス影響インデックスを合計することによって、合計影響インデックスを生成するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記重み付け係数は、前記複数のアラートの前記少なくとも1つのアラートの期間に基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記合計影響インデックスに基づいて、前記複数のアラートの各アラートの影響を優先順位付けするステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記合計影響インデックスを生成する前記ステップは、中央ネットワークオペレーションセンタで、前記合計影響インデックスを生成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記通信サービスに対する前記サービス影響インデックスに基づいて、前記複数のアラートの各アラートの影響を優先順位付けするステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポーネントに関する1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する前記ステップは、前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントを収容している中央オフィス内で前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する前記ステップは、中央ネットワークオペレーションセンタ内で前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のアラートのアラートをアラートインベントリ内に格納するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 通信ネットワークにおけるアラートを処理するシステムにおいて、
通信サービスに関連付けられた前記通信ネットワークのコンポーネントにおいて、複数のアラートを受信する手段であって、前記複数のアラートの各アラートはキー性能インジケータ(KPI)を含む手段と、
前記複数のアラートの中の各アラートに対するハンドルを生成する手段であって、前記複数のアラートの中の所与のアラートに対するハンドルは前記所与のアラートを記述する情報を含んでいる手段と、
前記複数のKPIを使用した規則のセットに基づいて、前記コンポーネントに関する1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する手段であって、前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータの各々は、重大度レベルおよび前記複数のハンドルの少なくとも1つのハンドルからの前記所与のアラートを記述する前記情報を含んでいる手段と
前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータに基づいて、前記通信サービスへの影響を示しているサービス影響インデックス(SII)を生成する手段と
を備えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントが、前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する手段は、前記通信ネットワークの複数のコンポーネントに対する1つ以上のコンポーネント状況インジケータを生成する手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 根本原因分析を実行する手段をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記サービス影響インデックスを生成する前記手段は、前記通信ネットワークのサービス品質を示すサービス影響インデックスを生成する手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 重み付け係数を乗算された、複数の通信サービスの各々の通信サービスに対する前記サービス影響インデックスを合計することによって、合計影響インデックスを生成する手段をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントは、前記通信ネットワークのより高いレベルにおけるコンポーネントへ、前記複数のアラートを伝えるように構成されており、
前記より高いレベルにおけるコンポーネントにおいて、前記コンポーネントからの前記コンポーネント状況インジケータの重要度レベルが修正され、
前記より高いレベルにおける前記コンポーネントは、伝えられた前記複数のアラートをフィルタリングするよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記通信ネットワークの前記コンポーネントは、前記通信ネットワークのより高いレベルにおけるコンポーネントへ、前記複数のアラートを伝えるように構成されており、
前記通信ネットワークの前記より高いレベルにおけるコンポーネントにおいて、前記コンポーネントからの前記コンポーネント状況インジケータの重要度レベルが修正され、
前記より高いレベルにおける前記コンポーネントは、伝えられた前記複数のアラートをフィルタリングするよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。
