Description
本発明は、医療用デバイスに関するものであり、特に治療用または診断用薬剤を組織内の部位に送出する装置に関する。
治療あるいは診断の目的で組織内のターゲット部位へ治療用または診断用の薬剤を送出するのに医療用針が使用されている。針は、通常薬剤を送出するための筒状ボディと、皮膚及び/又はその他身体組織に刺すための鋭い遠位チップを有しており、これによって皮膚とターゲット部位の間に介在する組織を通る穿刺経路を形成する。針先がターゲット部位に届く前、すなわち、針が通常の健康な介在組織を貫通する間に、薬剤が針の遠位チップから介在組織に漏れ出すリスクがある。薬剤は生体組織に対して、硬化性、壊死性及び/又は毒性があることがあるので、薬剤が漏れたり分散したりすると、介在組織を損傷することがある。
本発明の一実施例によれば、内側筒状ボディと外側筒状ボディを具える装置が提供されている。内側筒状ボディは、近位端と、鋭い遠位端と、これらの間に延在する送出ルーメンと、この送出ルーメンと連通している遠位端上の一又はそれ以上の出口ポートとを具える。一又はそれ以上の出口ポートは、内側筒状ボディの側壁に軸上出口か、または一又はそれ以上の開口を具えていてもよい。選択的に、内側筒状ボディの遠位端に、送出ルーメンに連通している軸上開口を具えていてもよく、内側筒状ボディの内表面はこの軸上開口に入る組織とかみ合うテクスチャード加工が施されている。外側筒状ボディは、近位端と、遠位端と、これらの間に延在する吸引ルーメンと、この吸引ルーメンに連通している遠位端上の一又はそれ以上の吸引ポートを具えている。内側筒状ボディは、内側筒状ボディの遠位端が外側筒状部材の遠位端を超えて前進するように外側筒状部材の中に摺動可能に支持されている。選択的に、内側及び外側筒状ボディの一方に、外側筒状ボディに対する内側筒状ボディの前進を制限するストッパを設けるようにしてもよい。
本発明の一実施例は、組織内のターゲット部位へ治療用または診断用薬剤を送出する装置において:近位端と、鋭い遠位端と、これらの間に延在する送出ルーメンと、前記遠位端に前記送出ルーメンに連通した一又はそれ以上の出口ポートを具える内側筒状ボディと;近位端と、遠位端とを具える外側筒状ボディと;を具え、前記内側筒状ボディが前記外側筒状ボディ内に摺動可能に支持されて前記内側筒状ボディの遠位端が前記外側筒状ボディの遠位端を越えて前進できるようになっていることと、前記外側筒状ボディはさらに、前記内側および外側筒状ボディの間に形成される環状スペースを含んでなる吸引ルーメンを具え、前記環状スペースは、前記外側筒状ボディの近位端から、前記前記外側筒状ボディの外表面に配置され、かつターゲット部位から吸引された物質を吸引ルーメン内へ送るように通す一又はそれ以上の吸引ポートまで延在することとを特徴とする装置置を提供する。
図1は、本発明の実施例によって構成された薬剤送出デバイス10を示す。薬剤送出デバイス10は、近位端16と、遠位端14と、近位端16と遠位端14間に延在するルーメン18を有する外側筒状ボディ12を具える。薬剤送出デバイス10は、また、外側筒状ボディ12のルーメン18内に同軸に位置する針などの内側筒状ボディ20を具える。内側筒状ボディ20は、遠位端22と、近位端24と、遠位端22と近位端24間に延在するルーメン26を具える。薬剤送出デバイス10は、更に、外側筒状ボディ12の遠位端14に、またはその近傍に配置した一又はそれ以上の吸引ポート28を具える。吸引ポート28についての詳細は後述する。
Claims (8)
- 組織内のターゲット部位へ治療用または診断用薬剤を送出する装置において:
近位端と、鋭い遠位端と、これらの間に延在する送出ルーメンと、前記遠位端に前記送出ルーメンに連通した一又はそれ以上の出口ポートを具える内側筒状ボディと;
近位端と、遠位端とを具える外側筒状ボディと;
を具え、前記内側筒状ボディが前記外側筒状ボディ内に摺動可能に支持されて前記内側筒状ボディの遠位端が前記外側筒状ボディの遠位端を越えて前進できるようになっていることと、前記外側筒状ボディはさらに、前記内側および外側筒状ボディの間に形成される環状スペースを含んでなる吸引ルーメンを具え、前記環状スペースは、前記外側筒状ボディの近位端から、前記前記外側筒状ボディの外表面に配置され、かつターゲット部位から吸引された物質を吸引ルーメン内へ送るように通す一又はそれ以上の吸引ポートまで延在することと
を特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置が更に、前記送出ルーメンに連通するように前記内側筒状ボディの近位端に接続された薬剤供給源を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置が更に、前記吸引ルーメンに連通するように前記外側筒状ボディの近位端に接続された真空源を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置が更に、前記外側筒状ボディの遠位端と前記内側筒状ボディの遠位端のうちの少なくとも一方に、一又はそれ以上の電極を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置が更に、前記外側筒状ボディの遠位端と前記内側筒状ボディの遠位端のうちの少なくとも一方に、放射線不透過性マーカを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置が更に、前記内側及び外側筒状ボディの一方に、前記外側筒状ボディに対する前記内側筒状ボディの前進を制限するストッパを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記一又はそれ以上の出口ポートが前記内側筒状ボディの側壁に一又はそれ以上の開口を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記内側筒状ボディの遠位端が、前記送出ルーメンに連通している軸上開口を具え、前記内側筒状ボディの内表面が当該軸上開口に入る組織にかみ合うようにテキスチャード加工されていることを特徴とする装置。
