Claims (5)
- ボア(2)の表面(3)を荒ホーニングする方法であって、すなわち、片側取り付けされたワークスピンドル(6)にホーニングバー(7)を備えるホーニングツール(5)による部分的研削時には、そのワークスピンドルの縦軸(MA)が、ボア(2)の縦軸(MB)に対してオフセット(S)を持つ場合、ホーニング前にワークスピンドルの縦軸がボア(2)に偏心的に挿入され、ホーニング動作の間、ボア(2)内における材料除去を行う際には、製造されるボア(2)の縦軸(M B )がワークスピンドル(6)の縦軸(M A )と同軸となるまで、ボア(2)の縦軸(M B )の変位が行われるようにして、上記の材料除去が行われ、この場合に、次には、縦軸(MA、MB)が同軸になった位置で、全面的研削の荒ホーニングにより表面が均一にホーニングされる、方法。
- ボア(2)のうちキャリッジユニット(10)と反対側に位置する部分が加工される少なくともその間、ホーニングツール(5)の往復運動がキャリッジユニット(10)によって行われ、その結果としてワークスピンドル(6)がキャリッジユニット(10)から送り出され、その結果としてワークスピンドル(6)が、キャリッジユニット(10)に代わって、その縦軸(MA)方向に動くことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 部分的研削として荒ホーニングが行われる間、ホーニングバー(7)の大きさの定まったステップ的送り出しが、定められた休止時間をともなって行われることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 部分的研削として荒ホーニングが行われる間、大きさの定まったステップ的送り出しが行われ、その際ホーニングバー(7)に働く押し付け力がモニタリングされることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 部分的研削として荒ホーニングが行われる間、ホーニングツール(5)の一部だけが、ボアの表面に接触し、全面的研削時の荒ホーニングではホーニングバー(7)は、ボアの周囲全体に接触することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
