Description
CeI3、PrI3、LuI3及び/又はNdI3などの希土類金属のヨウ化物が充填物に付加される。しかしながら、これらの塩は、とりわけより大きなモル比率が適用される場合には、攻撃的であり、容易に、放電容器のセラミック壁部の腐食をもたらすであろう。その上、(放電路に近い)前記壁部の腐食は、光分布のあらゆる不利な結果を伴う光の散乱/吸収を招くであろう。最後に、光出力は時間の関数として可能な限り安定的であるべきである。しかしながら、塩が、他のランプの一部と化学反応し、斯くして、消失する場合には、例えば、前記光出力(従って、保守性)は低下するであろう。
Claims (5)
- イオン化塩及び不活性ガスを有する充填物が充填された放電空間を囲むセラミック壁部を持ち、外側エンベロープによって隙間を空けて囲まれる放電容器を有するメタルハライドランプであり、前記放電空間内に2つの電極が配設され、前記2つの電極の先端部が、該先端部間に放電路を規定するように相互間空間を持つメタルハライドランプであって、前記イオン化塩が、NaI、TlI、CaI2及びCeI3を有し、CeI3/(NaI + TlI + CaI2 + CeI3)のモル百分率が、0%より大きく、10%以下であることを特徴とするメタルハライドランプ。
- CaI2/(NaI + TlI + CaI2 + CeI3)のモル百分率が、20%と90%との間である請求項1に記載のメタルハライドランプ。
- NaI、TlI、CaI2及びCeI3の量が、0.005g/cm 3 と、0.5g/cm 3 との間である請求項1又は2に記載のメタルハライドランプ。
- 前記充填物がHgを有する請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のメタルハライドランプ。
- プロジェクションランプとして用いられる請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のメタルハライドランプ。
