Description
また、本発明に係る駆動機構を有するモータと共に使用される外科用切除器具は、例えば、第一の湾曲部分と、基端にて終わる基端領域と、末端にて終わる末端領域と、基端から末端まで伸びる管腔とを画成する外管であって、該管腔が該外管の内面により画成される外管と、前記管腔内に受容され1つのワイヤーを有する内側ワイヤー組立体であって、基端部分と、末端部分とを有し、基端部分は外管の基端から基端方向に伸びる内側ワイヤー組立体と、前記内側ワイヤー組立体の末端部分と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の末端の末端側に伸びる切除先端と、前記内側ワイヤー組立体の基端部分に固定され、モータの駆動機構と接続し得るようにされた連結チャックと、前記外管の基端領域及び連結チャックを維持し、モータと接続し得るようにされたハウジングと、を備え、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、内側ワイヤー組立体の外面とハウジングの末端側における外管の内面の全長部分との間に回転ジャーナル軸受が確立され、最終的に組み付けたとき、前記ワイヤーは前記第一の湾曲部分の形状をとり、前記外科用切除器具は、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が50,000RPM以上の速度にて前記外管に対して回転することを許容するよう構成されている。
また、本発明に係る駆動機構を有するモータと共に使用される外科用切除器具は、例えば、第一の湾曲部分と、基端にて終わる基端領域と、末端にて終わる末端領域と、基端から末端まで伸びる管腔とを画成する外管であって、該管腔が該外管の内面により画成される外管と、前記管腔内に受容されワイヤーを有する内側ワイヤー組立体であって、基端部分と、末端部分とを有し、基端部分は外管の基端から基端方向に伸びる内側ワイヤー組立体と、前記内側ワイヤー組立体の末端部分と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の末端の末端側に伸びる切除先端と、前記内側ワイヤー組立体の基端部分に固定され、モータの駆動機構と接続し得るようにされた連結チャックと、前記外管の基端領域及び連結チャックを維持し、モータと接続し得るようにされたハウジングと、を備え、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、内側ワイヤー組立体の外面とハウジングの末端側における外管の内面の全長部分との間に回転ジャーナル軸受が確立され、最終的に組み付けたとき、前記ワイヤーは前記第一の湾曲部分の形状をとり、前記外科用切除器具は、軸受の破損を伴なわずに、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が80,000RPMの速度にて前記外管に対して回転することを許容するよう構成されている。
Claims (58)
- 駆動機構を有するモータと共に使用される外科用切除器具であって、
第一の湾曲部分と、基端にて終わる基端領域と、末端にて終わる末端領域と、基端から末端まで伸びる管腔とを画成する外管であって、該管腔が該外管の内面により画成される外管と、
前記管腔内に受容され1つのワイヤーを有する内側ワイヤー組立体であって、基端部分と、末端部分とを有し、基端部分は外管の基端から基端方向に伸びる内側ワイヤー組立体と、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体の末端部分と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の末端の末端側に伸びる切除先端と、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体の基端部分に固定され、モータの駆動機構と接続し得るようにされた連結チャックと、
前記外管の基端領域及び連結チャックを維持し、モータと接続し得るようにされたハウジングと、を備え、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、内側ワイヤー組立体の外面とハウジングの末端側における外管の内面の全長部分との間に回転ジャーナル軸受が確立され、
最終的に組み付けたとき、前記ワイヤーは前記第一の湾曲部分の形状をとり、
前記外科用切除器具は、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が50,000RPM以上の速度にて前記外管に対して回転することを許容するよう構成されている、外科用切除器具。 - 前記外管と内側ワイヤー組立体の間に玉軸受組立体が存在しないことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体の外面と外管の内面との間に配設された潤滑剤を更に備え、内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、潤滑剤は、内側ワイヤー組立体と外管との間に流体力学的効果を発生させ得るようにされる、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは均質である請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは工具鋼である、請求項4に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管は、第一の湾曲部分から離れた第二の湾曲部分を更に画成し、更に、最終的に組み付けたとき、ワイヤーは第二の湾曲部分の形状をとる請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ハウジングの末端側における外管の少なくとも一部分は2mm以下の最大外径を有する、請求項4に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは0.8mm以下の外径を有する、請求項4に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーの露出部分は、外管の末端から末端方向に伸び、更に、露出部分の長さは2.54mm以下である、請求項4に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の末端領域の直径は、末端まで末端方向にテーパーが付けられる、請求項4に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具であって、
前記外管の末端領域と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の管腔の直径よりも小さい内径を画成する密封先端を更に備える、外科用切除器具。 - 前記密封先端はセラミック体である、請求項11に記載の外科用切除器具器具。
- 請求項11に記載の外科用切除器具において、密封先端は、基端部分と、末端部分とを有する管状体であり、末端部分は、内側ワイヤー組立体の直径よりも小さい弛緩した状態の直径を画成し、更に、最終的に組み付けたとき、密封先端の末端部分は、内側ワイヤー組立体との接触を介して拡張した状態の直径となるように強制される、外科用切除器具。
- 前記密封先端は、外管及び内側ワイヤー組立体の一部分にシュリンク嵌めされた管状体である、請求項11に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具であって、
外管の少なくとも一部分上に配設された冷却スリーブを更に備える、外科用切除器具。 - 請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具において、前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、可撓性の多数撚りコイルワイヤーから成る中間部分を更に画成し、該中間部分は、その両端にて基端部分及び末端部分とそれぞれ接続される、外科用切除器具。
- 前記基端部分及び末端部分はワイヤーである、請求項16に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の内面と可撓性の巻いたワイヤーコイルとの間に回転軸受ジャーナルの少なくとも一部分が確立される、請求項16に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 可撓性の前記ワイヤーコイルは湾曲部分の形状をとる、請求項18に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 内側ワイヤー組立体は、第一の部分と、第二の部分とを有し、第一の部分は剛直なワイヤーであり、第二の部分は可撓性のワイヤーであり、更に、第二の部分は第一の部分の末端と接続され且つ、該末端から末端方向に伸び、切除先端は第二の部分の末端の末端側にて接続される、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 外管は湾曲部分を画成し、更に、最終的に組み付けたとき、内側ワイヤー組立体の第二の部分は湾曲部分の形状をとる、請求項20に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 外管の湾曲部分に沿って、外管の内面と内側ワイヤー組立体の第二の部分の外面との間に配設された中間管を更に備える、請求項21に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 第二の部分は第一の部分の直径よりも小さい直径を有する、請求項20に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の前記内面と前記内側ワイヤー組立体の前記外面との間に配置されたグリース潤滑剤を更に備え、前記グリース潤滑剤が、40℃にて100mm 2 /秒以上の動的粘度を示す、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、少なくとも517.107MPa(75Kpsi)の疲労強度を示す材料にて形成される、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、50HRC以上のロックウェル硬度であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の内面は、顕著に研磨され、0.508μm(20μインチ)RMS以下の表面粗さを示す、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ハウジングの末端側における前記外管の少なくとも一部分は、2mm以下の最大外径を有する、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管は、前記外管と前記ハウジングとの間の末端側の境界点に対して末端において2627N/m(15lbf/インチ)以上の剛性を示す、請求項1に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 駆動機構を有するモータと共に使用される外科用切除器具であって、
第一の湾曲部分と、基端にて終わる基端領域と、末端にて終わる末端領域と、基端から末端まで伸びる管腔とを画成する外管であって、該管腔が該外管の内面により画成される外管と、
前記管腔内に受容され1つのワイヤーを有する内側ワイヤー組立体であって、基端部分と、末端部分とを有し、基端部分は外管の基端から基端方向に伸びる内側ワイヤー組立体と、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体の末端部分と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の末端の末端側に伸びる切除先端と、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体の基端部分に固定され、モータの駆動機構と接続し得るようにされた連結チャックと、
前記外管の基端領域及び連結チャックを維持し、モータと接続し得るようにされたハウジングと、を備え、
前記内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、内側ワイヤー組立体の外面とハウジングの末端側における外管の内面の全長部分との間に回転ジャーナル軸受が確立され、
最終的に組み付けたとき、前記ワイヤーは前記第一の湾曲部分の形状をとり、
前記外科用切除器具は、軸受の破損を伴なわずに、前記内側ワイヤー組立体が80,000RPMの速度にて前記外管に対して回転することを許容するよう構成されている、外科用切除器具。 - 前記外管と内側ワイヤー組立体の間に玉軸受組立体が存在しないことを特徴とする、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体の外面と外管の内面との間に配設された潤滑剤を更に備え、内側ワイヤー組立体が外管に対して回転したとき、潤滑剤は、内側ワイヤー組立体と外管との間に流体力学的効果を発生させ得るようにされる、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは均質である請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは工具鋼である、請求項33に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管は、第一の湾曲部分から離れた第二の湾曲部分を更に画成し、更に、最終的に組み付けたとき、ワイヤーは第二の湾曲部分の形状をとる請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ハウジングの末端側における外管の少なくとも一部分は2mm以下の最大外径を有する、請求項33に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーは0.8mm以下の外径を有する、請求項33に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ワイヤーの露出部分は、外管の末端から末端方向に伸び、更に、露出部分の長さは2.54mm以下である、請求項33に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の末端領域の直径は、末端まで末端方向にテーパーが付けられる、請求項33に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具であって、
前記外管の末端領域と接続され、その少なくとも一部分が外管の管腔の直径よりも小さい内径を画成する密封先端を更に備える、外科用切除器具。 - 前記密封先端はセラミック体である、請求項40に記載の外科用切除器具器具。
- 請求項40に記載の外科用切除器具において、密封先端は、基端部分と、末端部分とを有する管状体であり、末端部分は、内側ワイヤー組立体の直径よりも小さい弛緩した状態の直径を画成し、更に、最終的に組み付けたとき、密封先端の末端部分は、内側ワイヤー組立体との接触を介して拡張した状態の直径となるように強制される、外科用切除器具。
- 前記密封先端は、外管及び内側ワイヤー組立体の一部分にシュリンク嵌めされた管状体である、請求項40に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具であって、
外管の少なくとも一部分上に配設された冷却スリーブを更に備える、外科用切除器具。 - 請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具において、前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、可撓性の多数撚りコイルワイヤーから成る中間部分を更に画成し、該中間部分は、その両端にて基端部分及び末端部分とそれぞれ接続される、外科用切除器具。
- 前記基端部分及び末端部分はワイヤーである、請求項45に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の内面と可撓性の巻いたワイヤーコイルとの間に回転軸受ジャーナルの少なくとも一部分が確立される、請求項45に記載の外科用切除器具。

- 外管の湾曲部分に沿って、外管の内面と内側ワイヤー組立体の第二の部分の外面との間に配設された中間管を更に備える、請求項50に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 第二の部分は第一の部分の直径よりも小さい直径を有する、請求項49に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の前記内面と前記内側ワイヤー組立体の前記外面との間に配置されたグリース潤滑剤を更に備え、前記グリース潤滑剤が、40℃にて100mm 2 /秒以上の動的粘度を示す、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、少なくとも517.107MPa(75Kpsi)の疲労強度を示す材料にて形成される、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記内側ワイヤー組立体は、50HRC以上のロックウェル硬度であることを特徴とする、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記外管の内面は、顕著に研磨され、0.508μm(20μインチ)RMS以下の表面粗さを示す、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
- 前記ハウジングの末端側における前記外管の少なくとも一部分は、2mm以下の最大外径を有する、請求項30に記載の外科用切除器具。
