また、実願平4−37744号公報に示される技術は、裁断片を流体噴射により飛ばして移送するものでこれでは次工程に移る際に飛ばした裁断片を整理する工程が必要となり、全体として機械構成および作業工程が複雑化して作業の迅速性に欠けるという問題が予想される。
さらに実願昭58−190379号に示される技術は、裁断後の裁断片を吸着する移送手段が示されているが、裁断片が不安定な状態の吸着であるから、裁断片が飛び散って吸着に失敗したり、精確な位置で吸着できかったりするという欠点が容易に推測される。
以上述べたように、従前手段では搬送されたフィルムのごとき長尺物を裁断位置において確実に裁断できる上に、この裁断された片を別の場所に確実にまた傷を生じさせることなく移送でき、しかも自動連続作業工程に耐え得る、また満足のできる装置が未だ見当たらないというのが現状である。
