Description
・電磁力―蠕動ポンプまたは弁で用いられるあらゆるタイプの電気モータによって用いられる
・空気力―薬剤送出システムにおいて、加圧ガスが圧縮可能な薬物槽(medication reservoir)を押圧して特定の流動抵抗を通って薬剤を放出させる
・流体力(hydraulic force)―調節デバイスにおいて、生理学的に許容可能な溶液で満たされた環状バルーンにより収縮が行われる。
・プログラム可能注入ポンプでは、バッテリでモータを駆動する。バッテリの寿命は限られており、これは交換が必要であることを意味し、さらなる手術を伴う。有害な漏れおよび拡散を避けるために、バッテリの封入が完全である必要もある。電子回路(electronics)に故障がある場合、デバイス内で電力が利用可能であるため、ポンプは単独で始動することがある。
・受動的な流体調節を行う注入ポンプでは、流量が高度および/または温度の変化の影響を受ける。注入溶液の粘度および血管用途でのカテーテル先端の場所の動脈圧もまた、流量に影響を与える可能性がある。
・胃調節デバイスでは、流体回路内の液体の量を調節するためのアクセスポートが皮下に位置付けられる。この調節は、シリコーン膜の穿刺によってのみ行うことができる。これは、感染および漏れの危険があることを意味する。
・通常、アクチュエータが行うべき機能が果たされたか否かに関する直接的なフィードバックはない。この情報を得る唯一の方法は、例えば外部診断システムを用いた、例えば効果の測定値による間接的なものである。

上記可動部材により調整可能な、肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
上記可動部材により調整可能な、胃腸逆流症(Gastro Enteral Reflux Disease)の処置のための食道バンディング(oseophageal banding)と、
上記可動部材により調整可能な、尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋と、
上記可動部材により調整可能な、便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋と、
上記可動部材により調整可能な、結腸造瘻(colostomy)後に用いる人工括約筋と、
上記可動部材により調整可能な、回腸造瘻(ileostomy)後に用いる人工括約筋と、
上記可動部材により調整可能な薬剤注入システムと
から成る群から選択される1つを備える。
自生の血管または人工移植片の血流量の調節と、
肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
胃腸逆流症の処置のための食道バンディングと、
尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
結腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
回腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
薬剤注入システムの制御と
の群から選択される少なくとも1つで用いる医療デバイスの製造における、上記のデバイスまたはシステムの使用方法も提供する。
自生の血管または人工移植片の血流量の調節と、
肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
胃腸逆流症の処置のための食道バンディングと、
尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
結腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
回腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
薬剤注入システムの制御と
からなる群から選択される用途での上記のデバイスまたはシステムの使用方法も提供する。
マイクロコントローラにすでに実装されている放電ロジック回路部に接続された外部抵抗・コンデンサネットワークから成る弛張発振器。2つの付加的な構成要素のみを用いるこの簡単な解決策は、周波数の安定性がさほど重要ではない場合に適している。別の利点は電流消費が少ないことである。
水晶、コンデンサ、および論理回路を有する共振回路から成る水晶発振器。この解決策は、安定した周波数が必要である場合に好ましいが、外部の付加的な構成要素の数および電流消費は多い。
Claims (16)
- 埋め込み可能デバイスであって、
ステッピングモータと、
前記ステッピングモータによって可動な可動部材と、
発振器と
を備え、
前記発振器は、前記ステッピングモータから得られるかまたは前記ステッピングモータに供給される信号による影響を受けて、前記可動部材に関する情報がパッシブテレメトリにより外部コントローラにフィードバックされることを可能にする、埋め込み可能デバイス。 - 前記信号は、前記ステッピングモータの1つのコイルに印加される電気信号である、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記信号は、前記ステッピングモータのコイルに巻かれた二次コイルに誘導される電圧である、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記発振器は、FM・AM変調を用いたパッシブテレメトリによる前記情報のフィードバックに用いられる吸収変調器を駆動する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記信号は、前記発振器の周波数を修正する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記信号は、
前記発振器に連結する抵抗・コンデンサネットワークの少なくとも1つのパラメータと、
前記発振器を含む水晶発振器の少なくとも1つのパラメータと
の一方を修正するために用いられる、請求項5に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。 - 前記ステッピングモータを駆動するマイクロコントローラをさらに備え、
前記発振器は、クロック信号を前記マイクロコントローラに供給する外部発振器も備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。 - 前記発振器に影響を与えるために用いられる検出器によって、前記可動部材の基準位置が検出される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記検出器は、前記基準位置が検出されると前記発振器の周波数の偏移を引き起こす、請求項8に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 前記検出器は、電気接点スイッチ、ホール効果スイッチ、感圧抵抗体素子、可変インダクタ、およびピエゾ抵抗素子から成る群から選択される、請求項8または9に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 生体適合性の非金属パッケージに封入される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイス。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイスと、
パッシブテレメトリによりフィードバックされた前記信号のパルスを計数して、ステッピングモータの動きおよび可動部材の位置を確定する手段を備える外部コントローラと
を備えるシステム。 - 前記外部コントローラは、前記信号の形状を解析して前記ステッピングモータの阻害を検出する手段をさらに備える、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記可動部材により調整可能な、自生の血管または人工移植片の血流量を調節するための流量コントローラと、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、胃腸逆流症の処置のための食道バンディングと、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋と、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋と、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、結腸造瘻後に用いる人工括約筋と、
前記可動部材により調整可能な、回腸造瘻後に用いる人工括約筋と、
前記可動部材により調整可能な薬剤注入システムと
から成る群から選択される1つをさらに備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の埋め込み可能デバイスまたは請求項12もしくは13に記載のシステム。 - 自生の血管または人工移植片の血流量の調節と、
肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
胃腸逆流症の処置のための食道バンディングと、
尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
結腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
回腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、
薬剤注入システムの制御と
の群から選択される少なくとも1つで用いる医療デバイスの製造における、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスまたはシステムの使用方法。 - 自生の血管または人工移植片の血流量の調節と、
肥満の処置のための胃バンディングと、
胃腸逆流症の処置のための食道バンディングと、
尿失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
便失禁の処置のための人工括約筋の制御と、
結腸造瘻後の人口括約筋の制御と、

薬剤注入システムの制御と
の群から選択される用途で使用するための請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のデバイスまたはシステム。
