Description
ZrIV (1−x)FeIII x(OH)(4−x) (1)
(式中、x=0.25〜0.75程度である。)
xは0.25〜0.75、好ましくは0.35〜0.65程度、さらに好ましくは0.45〜0.55程度である。xが0.25〜0.75の範囲でZrの一部をFeで置換すると、Zrのみの場合よりもリン吸着能を向上させることができる。
本発明のリン吸着剤は、無水物であってもよく、任意の数の水が付着又は水和した水和物の形態であってもよい。
本明細書において、吸着されるリンとしては、リン酸ないしリン酸解離物が好ましく例示されるが、亜リン酸又はそのイオンなども吸着することができる。
実施例1〜3
0.1M ZrOCl2(150mL)と0.1M FeCl3(50mL)を混合し、攪拌下に0.1M NaOHを加えてpHを〜10に調製した。生じた沈殿物を濾過し、脱イオン水で洗浄後乾燥して、ZrIV 0.76FeIII 0.24(OH)3.75で表される化合物を得た。得られた化合物の化学式は、5N塩酸に溶解し、原子吸光光度法およびICP発光法により、FeとZrの濃度を求めることにより確認した。
比較例1
0.1M ZrOCl2 (200mL)のみを使用して実施例1と同様に処理し、ZrIV(OH)4・nH2Oで表される化合物を得た。
試験例1
実施例1及び比較例1で得られたリン吸着剤0.05gを使用し、2mg-P/Lのリン酸模擬廃液(妨害イオンとして、HCO3 −(NaHCO3を添加)=100mg/L、Ca2+(CaCl2を添加)=40mg/Lを共存。pH8.8)を含む1Lの水溶液からのリンの吸着量を測定した。結果を表1に示す。

- 下記の一般式(1)で表されるジルコニウム−鉄複水酸化物:
Zr IV (1−x) Fe III x (OH) (4−x) (1)
(式中、x=0.45〜0.55である。) - x=0.5である、請求項1に記載のリン吸着剤。
- 請求項1または2に記載のリン吸着剤を使用してリン含有廃水を処理することを特徴とする、リンの除去方法。
