Claims (6)
- 制御信号に従って、前記制御信号に対応する周波数を持つ振動信号を生成するステップと、
前記振動信号および分周比に基づいて、前記振動信号の周波数と前記分周比の積に等しい周波数を持つ比較信号を生成するステップと、
前記分周比を変調し、且つ、選択的に、変調モードにおいて、第1の通信信号に基づき前記分周比を変調することにより、前記振動信号がその周波数を変え得るようにする、または、一定周波数モードにおいて、前記分周比を変えずに保つことにより、 前記振動信号がその周波数を一定とできるようにするステップと、
前記比較信号の前記周波数に基づいて前記制御信号を調整するステップと、
前記変調モードで動作しているときは第1送信モジュールへ、または、前記一定周波数モードで動作しているときには第2送信モジュールへ、スイッチにより選択的に前記振動信号を送るステップと、
前記第2送信モジュールで受信された受信信号を前記一定周波数モードにおいて一定周波数である振動信号と混合し、前記受信信号を保持した混合信号を生成するステップと、
を含み、
前記第1送信モジュールは前記変調モードにおいて作動し、
前記第2送信モジュールは前記一定周波数モードにおいて作動し、
前記第1の通信信号はベースバンド信号であることを特徴とするマルチモード通信方法。 - 前記第2送信モジュールへ送られた前記振動信号を分周するステップをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記一定周波数モードにおいて一定周波数を有する振動信号は、連続波(CW)であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- マルチモード通信システムであって、
制御信号に従って、前記制御信号に対応する周波数を持つ振動信号を生成する発振器、
前記発振器に電気的に接続して、前記振動信号と分周比に基づき、前記振動信号の周波数と前記分周比の積に等しい周波数を持つ比較信号を生成する第1の分周器、
前記第1の分周器に電気的に接続して前記分周比を変調する周波数変調器であって、選択的に、変調モードにおいて、第1の通信信号に基づき前記分周比を変調することにより、前記振動信号がその周波数を変え得るようにする、または、一定周波数モードにおいて、前記分周比を変えずに保つことにより、 前記振動信号がその周波数を一定とできるようにする周波数変調器、および、
前記第1の分周器と前記発振器に電気的に接続して、前記比較信号の前記周波数に基づき前記制御信号を調整する周波数位相検出器、
を含む第1の通信モジュール、
前記マルチモード通信システムから出力されることとなる通信信号を送信する第1送信モジュール及び第2送信モジュール、
前記周波数変調器が前記変調モードで動作しているときは前記第1送信モジュールへ、または、前記周波数変調器が前記一定周波数モードで動作しているときには前記第2送信モジュールへ、選択的に前記振動信号を送ることのできるスイッチ、を有し、
前記第2送信モジュールは、前記第2送信モジュールに電気的に接続して、前記一定周波数モードにおいて一定周波数である振動信号を前記第2送信モジュールにより受信された受信信号と混合し、前記受信信号を保持した混合信号を生成する第1のミキサーを含み、
前記第1送信モジュールは前記変調モードにおいて作動し、
前記第2送信モジュールは前記一定周波数モードにおいて作動し、
前記第1の通信信号はベースバンド信号であることを特徴とするマルチモード通信システム。 - 前記第2送信モジュールが、前記第2送信モジュールと前記スイッチとの間に電気的に接続して、前記スイッチから前記第2送信モジュールへ送られる前記振動信号の前記周波数を分周する第2の分周器をさらに含む、請求項4記載の通信システム。
- 前記第2送信モジュールが、一定周波数を有する連続波(CW)である前記振動信号を生成する局部発振器をさらに含む、請求項4記載の通信システム。
