Description
図1は、光導波管14を備えたロータブレード10を示している。ここで、光導波管はロータブレード上(又はロータブレード内)に配設され、そしてロータブレード先端部15の領域内では曲がりくねった形状で配設されている。光導波管14の一方の接続部には発光ダイオード16が配設され、他方の接続部には対応する受光ダイオード18が配設されている。光導波管へは、発光ダイオードによって光が供給され、受光ダイオード18は、光導波管を通過した光を受け入れる。
Claims (6)
- 風力発電装置のロータのハブとの接続のためのロータブレード接続部と、該ロータブレード接続部と反対の位置関係にありロータブレードの端部に位置するブレード先端部とを備えた風力発電装置のロータブレードであって、
上記ロータのハブ内に配置された光発生装置と、
該ロータブレードの全長にわたって配設された光導波管であって、該光導波管の入口端部に入る上記光発生装置からの光を、該光導波管の出口端部に案内するとともに、上記ロータのハブから始まり、該ロータブレード内で所定の形状をなし、上記ブレード先端部を経て、上記ロータのハブに戻るループ状に配置されている光導波管と、
上記ロータのハブ内に配置され、出て行く光の量を検出する検出器と、
上記検出器に接続され、出入りする光の量を評価する評価装置と、
風力発電装置の制御装置とを備えていて、
上記制御装置は、上記評価装置に接続され、該ロータブレードの過剰な伸びを避けることにより、評価された出入りする光の量に関連づけて、風力発電装置の保護のために該風力発電装置を制御することを特徴とするロータブレード。 - 上記制御装置は、上記光導波管から出る光の量が予め設定された値より低下した場合、風力発電装置をスイッチオフすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータブレード。
- 上記制御装置は、該ロータブレードの負荷が低減されるように、該ロータブレードのピッチ角を調整することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータブレード。
- 上記制御装置は、該ロータブレード内での細いひび割れの発生により上記光導波管が引き剥がされて光の全伝播が妨害された場合、風力発電装置を停止させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータブレード。
- 上記評価装置は、光導波管に入る光の量に対する光導波管から出る光の量の定量的な値を、光導波管の質に関連づけることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のロータブレード。
- 所望のレベルの質のための表を格納しているメモリを有し、確定された質の値が上記レベルより下降又は上昇したときに、風力発電装置に対する各制御処置が実施されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のロータブレード。
