Description
本発明は、ネットワークファクシミリ技術に関するものであり、特に、ネットワークファクシミリにおいてT.38ゲートウェイにより、Non-Standard Facilities(NSF)フレームおよびNon-Standard Setup(NSS)フレームを処理する方法に関する。
インターネットが普及し、その技術が成熟するにつれて、インターネット上でファクシミリ情報を転送することが可能となっている。それゆえ、IP上でのファクシミリに関する技術、つまり、ネットワークファクシミリの需要が出てきている。IP上のリアルタイムT.38ファクシミリは、IP技術上のファクシミリであり、パケット損失およびジッタに対して効果的に作用し、NGNで広く用いられている。リアルタイムT.38ファクシミリシステムのアーキテクチャを図1に示す。IP上のリアルタイムファクシミリシステムでは、ファクシミリ装置1およびファクシミリ装置2の2台の端末が、T.30プロトコルにてリアルタイムに相互に通信を行う。ファクシミリ通信を行う毎に、2台のファクシミリ装置は、信号の交換、または、メッセージの送受信を行う。データが、いずれか一方のファクシミリ装置によって変調され、ゲートウェイを介して送信されたとき、該ゲートウェイは、該変調された信号を復調し、該復調されたデータをT.38準拠のIPパケットにカプセル化する。そして、該パケットを反対側のゲートウェイにIPネットワークを介して送信する。該反対側のゲートウェイは、上記IPパケットから上記データを抽出し、該データを変調し、該変調したデータを反対側のファクシミリ装置に送信する。
本発明の目的は、ネットワークファクシミリ装置が最終的には標準フレームにてレートのネゴシエーションを実行し、ゲートウェイが標準コマンドであるDCSから正しいパラメータ情報を抽出することができ、それによってネットワークファクシミリサービスが正常に動作するための、T.38ゲートウェイによるNSFフレームの処理方法を提供することにある。
以下で、本発明の最良の実施形態について、詳細に説明する。
Claims (6)
- T.38ゲートウェイによるNSF(Non-Standard Facilities)フレームデータの処理方法であって、
NSFフレームデータを受信し、
NSS(Non-Standard Setup)フレーム信号を返信しないように、上記NSFフレームデータのファクシミリ情報を変更し、
上記変更したNSFフレームデータを送信することを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 上記ファクシミリ情報を変更することには、
該ファクシミリ情報の国コードを、いかなる国名にも対応しない数字に変更すること、または、
該ファクシミリ情報の製造者コードをランダムに変更すること、または、
該ファクシミリ情報の他のパラメータをランダムに変更することを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - T.38ゲートウェイによるNSS(Non-Standard Setup)フレームデータの処理方法であって、
NSSフレームデータを受信し、
上記NSSフレームデータを変更し、
上記変更したNSSフレームデータを送信することを含み、
該NSSフレームデータを変更することには、
NSSフレームデータのフレーム検査シーケンスをランダムに変更すること、または、該NSSフレームデータの検査結果を「不良」に変更することをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 上記NSSフレームデータの検査結果を「不良」に変更することは、
上記変更されたNSSフレームデータの検査結果を、Frame-Check-Sequence Bad(hdlc-fcs-bad)パケットにカプセル化し、該パケットを送信することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - NSFフレームが、音声符号化モードでトランスペアレントに送信された場合であって、上記変更されたNSSフレームデータを送信した後、
NSFフレームデータを受信し、
上記NSFフレームデータのファクシミリ情報を変更し、
上記変更したNSFフレームデータを送信することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 上記ファクシミリ情報を変更することには、
該ファクシミリ情報の国コードを、いかなる国名にも対応しない数字に変更すること、または、
該ファクシミリ情報の製造者コードをランダムに変更すること、または、
該ファクシミリ情報の他のパラメータをランダムに変更することを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
