Description
タイヤについてのロードノイズ、転がり抵抗およびフラットスポットは、以下に述べる試験方法に従って評価した。
6J−14のリムを組付け、200kPaの空気圧を充填したタイヤを、排気量2000ccのセダンタイプの乗用車の四輪に適用し、二名乗車してロードノイズ評価路のテストコースで60km/hの速度で走行し、運転席の背もたれの部分の中央側に取付けた集音マイクにより、周波数100〜500Hzの全音圧(デシベル)を測定し、この測定値からロードノイズを評価した。
転がり抵抗は、スチール平滑面を有する、外径が1707.6mm、幅が、試験タイヤの最大幅以上である寸法を有し、回転速度を一定に制御できる回転ドラムを用い、400×9.8Nの荷重の作用下で、0〜180km/hの速度で回転させた時の惰行法をもって減速度を測定し、この測定値から転がり抵抗を評価した。
フラットスポット性は、タイヤを実車に装着し、一定時間走行させて十分高温となったそのタイヤに負荷をかけて、完全に冷えるまで放置した後のタイヤの変形を、真円度の変化をもって測定して評価した。すなわち、負荷の前後における真円度をそれぞれ測定して、その差をフラットスポット量として検出した。
6J−14のリムを組付け、200kPaの空気圧を充填したタイヤに、520kgの質量を負荷して、150km/hの速度で30分間走行させ、故障が無ければ速度を6km/hずつ上げていき、故障が発生した時点で試験を打ち切って限界速度を求めた。なおここで、ベルト補強層を構成する補強コードの物性は、JISL1017の規定に従い、オートグラフ(島津製作所製)にて、測定条件の雰囲気温度下で、ゴムコーティング補強コードの荷重−伸び曲線を測定し、50±5℃、1.4×9.8mN/d荷重下の伸度と、170±5℃、0.7×9.8mN/d荷重下の伸度とを求め、その値を弾性率の尺度とした。
Claims (7)
- トロイド状に延びるカーカスのクラウン域の外周側に、層間でコードが相互に交差する二層以上のコード層からなるベルトを配設するとともに、このベルトの外周側に、実質的にタイヤ周方向に延びる補強コードのゴムコーティング層からなり、ベルト幅のおよそ全体および、ベルトの各側部域の少なくとも一方を覆う一層以上のベルト補強層を配設してなる空気入りタイヤであって、前記補強コードを、トータル太さが2400dtex以下のポリエチレン−2,6−ナフタレート繊維コードにて構成し、
ゴムコーティング補強コードの、常温下での、1.4×9.8mN/dの荷重による伸度を1.0〜2.0%、50±5℃での、1.4×9.8mN/dの荷重による伸度を1.5〜3.5%そして、170±5℃での、0.7×9.8mN/dの荷重による伸度を1.5〜3.0%としてなる空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記補強コードを、太さが1000〜1200dtexの糸の二本を撚り係数0.35〜0.45で撚り合わせてなる請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 補強コードのコーティングゴムの、25℃での100%モジュラスを2.0〜4.0MPaとするとともに、25℃での反発弾性率を60%以上としてなる請求の範囲1もしくは2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- ゴムコーティング補強コードの、常温下での、2.8×9.8mN/dの荷重による伸度を1.5〜2.5%としてなる請求の範囲1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 補強コードの、50mm幅当りの打込み本数を40〜70本としてなる請求の範囲1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- ベルト補強層を、一本以上の補強コードに、コーティングゴムを0.85〜1.0mmの厚みでゴムコーティングしてなる、ベルト補強層の配設幅より狭幅のリボン状ストリップにより構成してなる請求の範囲1〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- ベルト補強層を、補強コードをゴムコーティングしてなる狭幅のリボン状ストリップの、タイヤ幅方向への螺旋巻回構造体により構成してなる請求の範囲1〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
