Claims (4)
- 真空引きするための吸込孔を有する成形金型と、該成形金型により成形するために加熱軟化された樹脂シートのうち少なくとも対向する二辺を保持する複数の保持手段と、前記成形金型と型締めされて前記樹脂シートと前記成形金型との間を気密にする押え手段とを備えた真空成形装置であって、
前記樹脂シートを挟持するクランプ部材と、該クランプ部材から突出して前記樹脂シートの下面を支持するサポート部材とを有すると共に、互いに近接移動可能な一対の補助保持手段を備え、
前記クランプ部材は、前記樹脂シートのうち、前記複数の保持手段により保持した対向する二辺の間に延びる同一の一辺において局所的なたるみを持たせる位置を挟んで互いに隣接する部分を挟持し、
前記サポート部材は、前記局所的なたるみを持たせる位置の両側部に沿って延在していることを特徴とする真空成形装置。 - 前記一対の補助保持手段は、前記成形金型と前記押え手段とが型締めされた後に、前記クランプ部材による前記樹脂シートの挟持と、前記サポート部材による前記樹脂シートの支持とを解除することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の真空成形装置。
- 複数の保持手段により少なくとも対向する二辺を保持された樹脂シートを加熱軟化した後に、この樹脂シートを真空引きするための吸込孔を有する成形金型と押え手段との間に配置して型締めし、前記吸込孔から真空吸引して前記樹脂シートを前記成形金型に密着させて成形する真空成形方法であって、
前記複数の保持手段により前記樹脂シートを保持する際に、前記樹脂シートのうち、前記複数の保持手段により保持した対向する二辺の間に延びる同一の一辺において局所的なたるみを持たせる位置を挟んで隣接する部分を一対の補助保持手段のクランプ部材によりそれぞれ挟むと共に、この局所的なたるみを持たせる位置の両側部に沿って前記クランプ部材から延びるサポート部材により前記樹脂シートの下面を支持し、
前記樹脂シートを加熱軟化後に、前記一対の補助保持手段を互いに近接移動させて前記樹脂シートを局所的にたるませてから型締めすることを特徴とする真空成形方法。 - 前記一対の補助保持手段は、前記成形金型と前記押え手段とを型締めした後に、前記クランプ部材による前記樹脂シートの挟持と、前記サポート部材による前記樹脂シートの支持とを解除することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の真空成形方法。
