Description
本発明の実施の形態2について、図4を参照して説明する。図4は、実施の形態2にかかるバックライトユニット102の各構成要素の配置関係を説明するための正面図である。図4においては、説明の簡略化のため数点の部材のみを図示している。図4において、図1〜図3と同一の構成要素には同一の符号を付し、重複説明を省略する。
本発明の実施の形態3について図5を参照して説明する。図5は、実施の形態3にかかるバックライトユニット102の各構成要素の配置関係を説明するための正面図である。図5においては、説明の簡略化のため数点の部材のみを図示している。図5において、図1〜図3と同一の構成要素には同一の符号を付し、重複説明を省略する。
実施の形態3で説明したように図5に示す形状の均熱シートを備える液晶表示装置の電極部114及び電極部114から離れた発光部分の管壁温度を実測し、線状光源106の寿命と表示ムラの測定を行なった。比較として、線状光源106単体の場合、図6に示す従来の形状の均熱シート110を備える液晶表示装置の場合、均熱シート110を除去した液晶表示装置の場合について、同様に電極部114及び電極部114から離れた発光部分の管壁温度を実測し、線状光源106の寿命と表示ムラの比較を行なった。従来の均熱シート110の形状は、図6のクロス斜線部の内側で示される。すなわち、線状光源106の電極部114及び屈曲部を除く発光部分においては、均熱シート110は線状光源106の背面まで配置されている。

Claims (5)
- 導光板と、
前記導光板の入射側面に配置される線状光源と、
前記導光板の背面に配置される反射シートと、
前記反射シートの背面に配置される均熱シートとを備える面状光源装置であって、
前記均熱シートの端部は、前記線状光源の電極部近傍で前記導光板の入射側面よりも内側に配置され、
前記均熱シートの他の端部は、前記導光板の前記入射側面を除く側面に略一致するように配置されている面状光源装置。 - 前記線状光源の位置する範囲において、前記均熱シートの端部は前記導光板の入射側面よりも内側に配置されている請求項1に記載の面状光源装置。
- 前記線状光源の位置する範囲において、前記均熱シートの位置決め部を除いて、前記均熱シートの端部は前記導光板の入射側面よりも内側に配置されている請求項1に記載の面状光源装置。
- 前記線状光源は、1つ以上の屈曲部を有している請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の面状光源装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の面状光源装置と、
前記面状光源装置の視認側に配置される液晶表示パネルとを備える液晶表示装置。
