内周に円錐状の軌道面を有する外輪と、
外周に円錐状の軌道面を有する内輪と、
上記外輪の軌道面と上記内輪の軌道面との間に保持器によって保持された状態で複数配置される円錐ころとを備え、
上記円錐ころの小径端側に位置すると共に、上記外輪と上記内輪との間に形成される円環状開口における上記保持器より上記内輪側の開口面積をSiとし、かつ、上記円環状開口における上記保持器より上記外輪側の開口面積をSoとしたとき、
0.1≦Si/So≦0.6
であることを特徴としている。
上記内輪と上記外輪の間、または、上記円錐ころの大径端付近に潤滑剤流出促進手段を設け、
上記潤滑剤流出促進手段は、
上記円錐ころの個数を、zとし、上記円錐ころの大径側と小径側の中間の径をDWとし、上記円錐ころのピッチ径をdmとしたとき、
z≦0.85/(DW/(π・dm))を満たすような数に限定されたz個の上記円錐ころを、その円錐ころの大径側を潤滑剤の流出側に向けて、上記外輪と上記内輪との間に配置する構成を含む。

- 内周に円錐状の軌道面を有する外輪と、
外周に円錐状の軌道面を有する内輪と、
上記外輪の軌道面と上記内輪の軌道面との間に保持器によって保持された状態で複数配置される円錐ころとを備え、
上記円錐ころの小径端側に位置すると共に、上記外輪と上記内輪との間に形成される円環状開口における上記保持器より上記内輪側の開口面積をSiとし、かつ、上記円環状開口における上記保持器より上記外輪側の開口面積をSoとしたとき、
0.1≦Si/So≦0.6
であることを特徴とする円錐ころ軸受。 - 請求項1に記載の円錐ころ軸受において、
上記内輪と上記外輪の間、または、上記円錐ころの大径端付近に潤滑剤流出促進手段を設け、
上記潤滑剤流出促進手段は、
上記円錐ころの個数を、zとし、上記円錐ころの大径側と小径側の中間の径をDWとし、上記円錐ころのピッチ径をdmとしたとき、
z≦0.85/(DW/(π・dm))を満たすような数に限定されたz個の上記円錐ころを、その円錐ころの大径側を潤滑剤の流出側に向けて、上記外輪と上記内輪との間に配置する構成を含むことを特徴とする円錐ころ軸受。
